Vehicle searches and website requests

You can browse without an account. Vehicle searches use the make, model and model year in the URL. We do not ask you to enter a VIN or create a user profile. Cloudflare hosts and protects the site and processes technical request information, including IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps and browser information, to deliver and secure the service. Optional Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand site usage and improve our pages. Its script loads only after you select Allow optional. If you reject optional analytics, we do not load the Google Analytics script. When enabled, analytics can use first-party cookies and collect page URLs, interactions, browser and device information, and approximate location. Google processes IP addresses during collection; Google states that GA4 does not log or store them. See Google Analytics data safeguards and how Google uses information from sites using its services. Analytics retention depends on the Google Analytics property settings.

Cookies and your choices

Optional consent defaults to denied. Your choice is stored in this browser’s local storage. You can reopen Privacy choices in the footer at any time. Rejecting after previously allowing stops further analytics loading after the page reloads; it does not erase data already collected. You can clear existing analytics cookies through your browser settings, or use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising is not enabled. Reserved advertisement spaces do not load ad scripts. Blocking optional cookies does not prevent you from reading vehicle reports.

Contact emails

If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include in the message. We use this information to respond, investigate corrections and handle privacy requests. Email services process messages to deliver and store correspondence. Please send only what is needed for your request and avoid sensitive information. We retain correspondence only as needed to handle the request, maintain necessary records or meet applicable obligations.

Public records and external links

Vehicle reports use public NHTSA records. Displayed complaint examples redact VIN-like strings, email addresses and phone numbers, but original source records may contain additional owner-submitted information. Let us know if an example needs review. Links to publishers, NHTSA and social services are governed by those services’ policies. Social sharing buttons do not post automatically.

Service providers and data handling

Hosting, analytics and email providers process information for their services and may process it in countries outside yours. We do not sell contact messages. No security method is perfect; please avoid sending confidential details by email.

Privacy requests and updates

You may contact us to ask about personal information you sent us or request access, correction or deletion, subject to applicable law and necessary recordkeeping. We may need to verify a request using only the information needed to do so. We will update the effective date when this policy changes. Contact us with questions.
