I had an awful noise that accompanied a sticky/ inconsistent brake pedal feel and braking concerns. Upon contacting multiple dealerships and honda corporate is was told everything is working as designed. I filed a claim with NCDS and was awarded a repair. When contacting the dealership and manufacturer they did another inspection and said it's working as designed and there was nothing to repair. Now in the news they are recalling approximately 250,000 Hondas/Acura vehicles for a safety issue with the brake pedal. There is no information on what…

If the car thinks the door is not fully closed, it will not allow the car to go into drive. My husband put the car into reverse and backed out onto a busy highway. He tried to put the car into drive and it would not go because the car's electrical system thought the door was not fully shut (it was). He had to shut the car off completely and open/close the door again. This put him in a very dangerous situation and he could have been killed by oncoming traffic.

Purchased new 2021 Acura TLX in April 2021 from Leith Acura Raleigh. On 5/22, 7/6, 7/23, & 11/2/21, the fuel capless unit was adjusted once replaced 3 times. American Honda is aware of the problems with the part & sent service bulletins to every Acura service dept. American Honda stated this & the 2 dealerships did also. On 8/4, there was an issue. Steering column began dripping grease. Grease dripping from steering shaft bolts "due to extreme heat". 12/7/21, extremely loud, high pitch squeal from brakes due to issue known by American Honda. After approx. 15,000 miles on the odometer applying the brakes at highway speed to slow the car down the steering wheel shakes, went to the dealership they said the front brake rotors are warped. Also when traveling at highway speed around 70 mph with strong wind the hood of the car shakes as if it is not latched, stopped vehicle and checked that the hood is properly latched and it was, I am concerned that one time the hood will come unlatched as I am driving. Dealer said that was a normal like other Acura TLX of the same year.

My vehicle is a 2022 Acura TLX A-Spec with 20,000 miles on it. I bought it certified from an Acura dealer October of 2022 at 7,600 miles. I started to have an issue with the driving experience recently. I took it in to my closet dealer and they stated that the problem was the rotors being warped from driving and braking then that I would have to pay for the replacement rotors and brakes, but it’s impossible and the mileage shows. This is an manufacturer issue that has affected many owners and hasn’t been resolved.

I LIVE IN COLORADO AND USE PADDLE DOWN SHIFT TO GEAR DOWN FOR SLOWING ON DECLINES. WHEN I DO THAT, THE CAR ACELERARES FOR A FEW SECONDS BEFORE SLOWING DOWN. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION BECAUSE YOU BELIEVE YOU ARE SLOWING TO AVOID RUNNING INTO THE CAR IN FRONT AND INSTEAD YOU INCREASING SPEED TOWARD THE BACK OF THE CAR IN FRONT. ACURA CUSTOMER SERVICE SAY THAT IS THE WAY THE CAR IS DESIGNED, BUT DOES NOT DEFEND THE LOGIC OF THAT DESIGN. I CAN NOT BELIEVE THAT THIS HAS NOT CAUSED SERIOUS SITUATIONS AND ACCIDENTS.

We have a 2022 Acura TLX Type S and it has started to show an errors - Adaptive Damper System Problem.
