PRODUCT SAFETY CAMPAIGN 90-C-50 (A) - AUTOMATIC -APPLIED PARKING BRAKE MALFUNCTIONED. ON P-30 MOTOR HOME CHASSIS. WHILE AT FREE WAY SPEED I HAVE HAD THE E-BRAKE ACTIVATE ON ITS OWN ON TWO DIFFERENT OCCASIONS. THE REAR WHEELS LOCKED CAUSING A NEAR COLLISION WHILE NEGOTIATING A CURVE. I CONTACT GM CUSTOMER ASSIST. VEHICLE CONTINUES TO ROLL WHEN THE PARKING BRAKE IS ON AND ENGINE IS SHUT OFF. DEALER HAS ADJUSTED THE PARKING BRAKE THREE TIMES. ANOTHER DEALER REBUILT THE PARKING BRAKE SYSTEM. MANUFACTURER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED. *AK
