| Fuel System, Gasoline | 666.7%ODI 10235504 · 4,555 miVEHICLE HAD AN IRREGULAR, LOW IDLE, STUTTERING, LACK OF POWER AND WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO START. SOMETIMES THE VEHICLE'S ENGINE WOULD DIE AT INTERSECTIONS WHILE IDLING. THE ENGINE STOPPING AT INTERSECTIONS IS DANGEROUS AND COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT OR DEATH. UPON INVESTIGATION, I REALIZED THAT THE ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP HOSE INSIDE THE FUEL TANK WAS LEAKING THEREFORE NOT SUPPLYING THE APPROPRIATE PRESSURE TO THE INJECTOR. I PURCHASED A NEW SUBMERSIBLE FUEL LINE AND TWO HOSE CLAMPS AND REPLACED THE LEAKING OEM FUEL HOSE. *TR | 10100.0%ODI 10235514AFTER RUNNING FOR A COUPLE HOURS IN HEAT, THE BIKE WILL STALL ANYTIME RPM'S FALL TO IDLE SPEEDS. THERE SEEMS AT THESE TIMES TO BE A BUILDUP OF EXCESS PRESSURE IN THE FUEL TANK BECAUSE REMOVING THE CAP WILL CAUSE AN OUTWARD FLOW OF AIR FROM THE TANK. OCCASIONALLY THIS FLOW IS STRONG ENOUGH TO FLIP THE FUEL CAP OUT OF MY HAND AS I REMOVE IT. LEAVING THE CAP NOT FULLY SECURED SEEMS TO PREVENT BOTH THE FUEL STARVATION AND THE BUILDUP OF PRESSURE. *TR | 150.0%ODI 10235535 · 650 miTHE MATERIAL USED FOR AN IN-TANK FUEL LINE DETERIORATES AND CAUSES A SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER. Emerging complaint spikes
Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.
This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.
No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.
Equal-age model-year comparison
Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
2008: 2 complaints · 2009: 0 complaints

Date coverage across each selected cohort

| 2008 | 2 | 0 | 0 |
| 2009 | 1 | 0 | 0 |
Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
