ABOUT 1 HOUR LEFT UNTIL WE GET HOME, WE HIT TRAFFIC AND LUCKILY WE DECIDED TO CHANGE 1 LANE TO THE RIGHT FROM THE FARTHEST LEFT(FAST LANE) BEFORE HITTING A FULL STOP. My turbochargers failed due to oil starvation caused by a clogged oil screen. My vehicle had 71,393 miles on it when the turbos failed and had no prior problems or warning lights. While driving to the dealership for a Passenger Occupant Detection System recall (unrelated issue with no warning lights), my car lost power in traffic as I was pulling off the main road into the parking lot. Luckily I was able to coast most of the way to the service entrance but had to have the car pushed the rest of the way. The electronics still worked, the car…

The ECU control module Is a known problem with this car by a great amount of owners. It is such a problem that the car part is on back order for weeks at a time. The biggest issue about this is that the car just randomly doesn’t turn on and randomly shuts down on the roads, freeways and even U turns. It can potentially lead to critical injuries

WHEN WE WENT INTO THE GARAGE TO SEE THE CAR, IT WAS NOT BEING DETAILED, BUT THE BACK SEATS WERE REMOVED AND GAS WAS BEING SIPHONED FROM THE VEHICLE. WE WERE SHOCKED AND ASKED THE SERVICE TECHNICIANS WHAT THE HECK THEY WERE DOING. WE WERE TOLD THAT THEY WERE PERFORMING SERVICE TO MAKE SURE THE VEHICLE RUNS WELL. Carvana sold me a 2016 Audi S7 (VIN [XXX] ) with what was later discovered to be an odometer discrepancy. I submitted a formal complaint to the Ohio Attorney General, and Carvana subsequently issued a refund. However, after refunding me, I learned that Carvana resold the vehicle at auction without disclosing the odometer issue or branding the title as required under federal law. Play also did disclose the damage that was done to the engine, turbo chargers, or from the car catching on fire. This raises serious concerns about odometer fraud an…

I have been trying to get this recall remedied since 4/1/22 to no avail. I have been stranded on the side of a busy highway due to the fuel indicator reading 1/3 full but the fuel tank was actually empty. This put me in a significant safety situation where the car slows to unsafe speeds and stops due to lack of fuel. I have contacted Audi Corp for months without success.

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

FAILURE OF BOTH TURBOS WHILE DRIVING THROUGH A RURAL SECTION OF TOWN. VERY ROUGH IDLE AND SUBSEQUENT STALL OF ENGINE WHILE IN TRAFFIC. UNABLE TO RE-START OR DRIVE WITHOUT KEEPING THE GAS PEDAL DEPRESSED MAKING IT VERY DIFFICULT TO REGULATE SPEED AND NEGOTIATE TRAFFIC. LATER FOUND OUT THE TURBO FAILURE IS DUE TO DEFECTIVE OIL FEED DESIGN FROM THE MANUFACTURER.
