WE LEASED OUR 2011 BMW X6 3.5I IN AUGUST 2010 FROM BMW OF TENAFLY. THE FIRST HIGH FUEL PRESSURE PUMP MALFUNCTION OCCURRED WITHIN THE FIRST 6 MONTH - IN FEBRUARY 2011. THE CAR STALLED IN THE MIDDLE OF BUSY HIGHWAY AND BECOME UNCONTROLLABLE WHILE MY WIFE WAS DRIVING OUR KIDS FROM KINDERGARTEN. THE DEALERSHIP IDENTIFIED THE FAULTY FUEL PUMP AND THE CAR WAS IN SERVICE FOR THE WHOLE 2 MONTH, WHILE WE WHERE DRIVING LOANER. WITHIN A YEAR FROM THAT SERVICE, IN APRIL 2012 THE ENGINE STALLED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AGAIN. I WAS DRIVING AT ABOUT 40MPH …

-ELECTRICAL ISSUES IN THE BOTH REAR DOORS ALMOST BURNED THE CAR DOWN TWICE. LUCKILY MECHANIC WAS ABLE TO FIND WHERE THE SMOKE SMELL WAS COMING FROM IN TIME. 3,000 DOLLAR EXTENDED WARRANTY WOULD NOT COVER IT AND GAVE MANY EXCUSES TO NOT PAY FOR IT. -ELECTRICAL MALFUNCTION ISSUE WITH THE EMERGENCY BRAKE SYSTEM.

The contact owns a 2011 BMW X6. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle would independently shift into neutral upon the depression of the brake pedal without warning. The contact would restart the vehicle soon after the failure to resume normal driving. The contact called the dealer and was informed that there were no recalls on the Vin. The contact was advised to take the vehicle to be diagnosed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and confirmed that the Vin was not under recall. The vehicle was not repair…

Took vehicle in to get checked. Had a hose replaced due to antifreeze leak. After picking vehicle up. Interior lights doesn’t work, signal lights doesn’t work, and or emergency brakes doesn’t work. My car was perfectly fine since I’ve had it. Never experienced this issue before.
