On June 8, 2026, I parked my 2023 BMW XM on my residential driveway, exited the vehicle, and walked toward my residence. My Ring security camera captured the incident. The video shows: I exited the BMW and walked approximately 12 seconds to my front door. I entered my residence. The vehicle displayed "drivetrain malfunction," would not engage any gear, and was completely inoperable. They were stranded in an unsafe area for 40 minutes awaiting a flatbed tow truck, the only option for this 6,100 lb hybrid.
