Reported: 2021-07-02 (July 2, 2021) · Model years: 2020, 2021
Braxton Creek RV (Braxton) is recalling certain 2020-2021 LX and BX travel trailers, equipped with Dometic R1731, R2131, and S31 3-burner cooking stoves. The saddle valve securing bolt may be overtightened, possibly damaging the o-ring seal and causing a continuous gas leak.
Consequence: A gas leak can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Braxton Creek will install a remedy kit of gaskets, washers, thread locker bolts, and two round orange labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 2, 2021. Owners may contact Braxton customer service at 1-260-768-7932. Braxton's number for this recall is 20E071.

Emerging complaint spikes
Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.
This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.
No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
