Owner report 11715454 · 2026-02-04 (February 4, 2026)

While crossing the road, right at the center, my Evolution brand low-speed vehicle, with less than eighty miles on the odometer and full battery charge, completely shut off. No warning lights, no alerts, no gradual slowdown. Screen went pitch black. The whole thing died. Before I could move or react, it restarted by itself. And since my foot was still on the accelerator, it shot forward, slammed straight into two mailboxes. I managed to back up once the display finally came on. But over the next three days, it kept happening. Randomly. At full cha…

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.

No selected model years have a complete observation window. Choose an eligible year or a shorter window.

Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.

Components reported together
