Vehicle had approximately 5000 miles on it when the electronic trunk release failed to operate. Trunk would not unlock or open from the key fob or the push button inside the vehicle. This was a safety concern as it was determined by the dealer of a faulty fuse box which controlled several other components of the vehicles electrical system. Dealer informed customer that the fuse box was on back order due to a large number of replacements for the same issue occurring.

There is a security flaw in the software programming of the vehicle. In the 2019+ models of the sixth generation Camaro, they have added a check that requires you to depress both the clutch and the brake to start the vehicle. My engine got my brand new Camaro is having a lifter tick issue. This seems to be a very common issue amongst these new Chevy engines, after doing research they all seem to stem from the same problem, and that would be the fuel management system that deactivates certain cylinders in the engine to “save on gas”, or better MPG. So their own technology is breaking their engines, I’m certain my car is having this issue now and it’s very, very expensive to fix.

I am writing to report a serious safety issue I experienced with my Chevrolet Camaro, which I believe may be related to a broader mechanical defect affecting General Motors vehicles. Approximately two weeks ago, while driving on the highway, an “ESC” (Electronic Stability Control) warning suddenly appeared on my dashboard. Immediately after, my vehicle began losing power and eventually shut down completely. I was fortunate to be able to coast to the shoulder to avoid a hazardous situation in active traffic. Believing the issue might be batter…

I purchased two Lexani LX-Twenty Performance tires, both 285/30R20 99W, for my 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible on April 19, 2026. On June 9, 2026, while driving down Highway 21 in Sparta, WI, I noticed my vehicle begin to shake. I was traveling at approximately 60mph when I began slowing down and heard a loud pop then my TPMS system indicated my front passenger tire was at 0 PSI. I pulled over on the shoulder of the road and upon further inspection discovered the inside wall of the tire had separated.

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.

Shudder in the transmission. My camaro shudders between 40 and 50 mph. It had a recall and was taken in for the repairs. It was a transmission fluid flush and a change in the fluid. Something like that. The problem is shudder isn't fixed it was for a while but its back. There's definitely something still wrong with this. Is it causing the car more damage? I believe GM should repair all the recalled vehicles right! This is an issue and a huge nuisance. Shudder problem is still there!
