Owner report 11536206 · 2023-08-03 (August 3, 2023)

I had purchased a set of four Cooper Discoverer HT3 185/60R15C 94T C Tires on 09/11/20. Since that time, three of the four Tires have failed due to Sidewall Failure. Luckily, the scenarios did not result in "Blowouts" in which control of the vehicle would have been compromised. I returned to the National tire and Battery where the tires were purchased after the first incident and was told that the Sidewall Damage was my fault as I had obviously hit a curb. I informed the young man in charge that this was highly unlikely as it was the inner Side…

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
