I was following a vehicle at 3-4 car lengths at 35 MPH. The vehicle in front made an aggressive stop and although I immediately saw the incident, I could not stop in time with a full panic stop by pressing the brakes hard to the floor. My brakes felt greasy and even though I had enough separation, the truck did not decelerate much. I felt the anti-lock mechanism but it did not seem to slow the vehicle.

The trailer brake controller randomly shuts down. We have gone through our trailer meticulously and have found zero issues. We have used this trailer with other trucks without any issues. This truck brake controller is shutting down leaving the driver with out brakes. We almost had a wreck due to this. GM keeps telling us that it is a trailer issue however the trailer works perfectly with any other truck. Someone is going to die in a wreck of this is not addressed immediately.

The electrical connector vibrated loose at the injector. The mechanic said he has seen this happen before and GM said its because those motors vibrate excessively. It caused my vehicle to run in reduced power mode. In that mode it was lurching forward uncontrollably and it felt like the transmission was banging. What damage will that alone cause in the future? Also, if GM knows there is an issue, why isn't it fixed? Why is the consumer responsible for poor engineering or design flaws? It isn't normal wear and tear or neglect on my part. The rep…

The tailgate is unlatching itself (electronically). This occurs every 30 seconds when the vehicle is parked. This is a safety issue because if someone is standing or walking behind the vehicle, the tailgate will open and injure them. Because the lights activate when the tailgate unlatches, the battery was drained and the vehicle could not start. Thus damaging the life of the battery. This has occurred consistently for the last 2 days. The dealer has the part for the issue because the 2024 has a recall but 2025 (ours) does not. Please be advised…

We were towing our 2025 Brinkley Z3100 Fifth Wheel and had a complete loss of trailer brakes with no warning or notification during a trip to and from the tennessee mountains from Florida. Had we not noticed the poor stopping ability it would have been an issue on any downhill grades as the trailer is in excess of 14,000 lbs. We stopped disconnected and reconnected the 7 pin connector and brakes were restored. This happened 4 times. We have made an appointment with the service department at Davis Chevrolet in Gainesville Florida however the ser…

I purchased a brand-new Chevrolet dually truck from Bomnin Chevrolet Dadeland in Miami, Florida. Since delivery, the vehicle has had serious unresolved defects and safety concerns. The truck has ongoing alignment issues that the dealership has been unable or unwilling to properly repair. The vehicle does not drive correctly and there are concerns regarding safe operation while hauling. In addition, a major issue has now developed involving the rear passenger door. The rear door does not properly close and latch securely. This creates a seriou…

Since repair work was performed on this vehicle in late 2025, it has intermittently experienced sudden, complete brake lockup on all four wheels without any pedal input. This has occurred during sharp turns and during straight, steady highway driving, both suddenly and after gradual buildup; regardless of the pattern leading up to it, the lockup itself is abrupt and unexpected. Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
