ON THE INTERSTATE THERE WAS A LINE OF MOTORCYCLES OF AT LEAST 50. AHEAD AND BEHIND THEM WERE A FEW OF THE NEWER SUBURBANS AND TAHOES BY CHEVY/GMC. I DIDNT HAVE ISSUES WITH THE LINE AND DELAY. I HAD AN ISSUE WITH THEIR HAZZARDS/EMERGENCY LIGHTS BLINKING. WHEN THOSE VEHICLES HAVE THEIR HAZARD LIGHTS BLINKING, THE BRAKE LIGHTS DO NOT WORK WHEN THEY ARE PRESSING ON THE BRAKES!!!! SO IT IS AN EXTREME SAFETY HAZARD FOR OTHER DRIVERS WHEN THE BRAKE LIGHTS DO NOT WORK WHEN THE HAZARD LIGHTS ARE ON AND BLINKING.

I WAS AT THE TOP OF A BOAT RAMP BEGINNING TO BACK UP IN ORDER TO LAUNCH OUR BOAT WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL FELT HARD AS A ROCK, IT WOULD NOT PRESS DOWN. QUICKLY, I SHIFTED INTO DRIVE AND MOVED SLOWLY TO LEVEL GROUND. THE BRAKE PEDAL REMAINED HARD, BUT STOPPED WHEN EXERTING TREMENDOUS PRESSURE, AKA "STANDING ON THE BREAK." I HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO A CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIR. THE PROBLEM WAS A FAILED BRAKE ASSIST VACUUM PUMP. APPARENTLY, THERE IS A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST GM FOR THIS VERY PROBLEM.

The power steering on the vehicle had failed on December 10th, 2023. The sign was displayed on the dashboard for the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to Sunrise Chevy and stayed with them for a month for repair and they have been unable to repair the issue. They said the rack and pinion had gone bad on this brand new car. There is a technical service bulletin published (15-NA-082) that is the result of insufficient welds between the bracket and frame rail that hold the sway bar on the models listed in the TSB. Recently while on a road trip we experienced heavy (almost uncontrollable) truck swaying while on the high way. I now have to find someone with welding experience in order to fix this problem because I am concerned about the safety of my family driving this vehicle with this condition. The factory exterior paint is failing. Most notable on the hood, roof and back passenger side lower quarter panel area. I just got an estimate to just repaint the hood through the dealership and it was over $3,000.00 (estimate attached) and ballpark estimate to repaint the entire car was around $10,000.000. Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Additionally, this leak causes the AC system to stop cooling, thus making the inside of the vehicle a very dangerous place, particularly during summer months, as it is impossible to cool. There are thousands of reports of this issue on all Chevy/GM models between 2015-2020 including tahoe, silverado, suburban, and yukons. It has also caused complete electrical failure being on a road while driving. This has also cause my wheel to jerk taking out the power steering and the engine has shut off completely to the point where I have to wait a few minutes to even turn it on. This has happened while reversing in to a parking spot and the whole car dies. It kills power so much that I have no hazard lights. When …
