Brakes system failure message on highway and couldn’t use brakes without standing on them. Once came to a stop in breakdown lane tow driver took us to closest Chevrolet dealer where we were told our vehicle was unsafe to drive and was basically a toboggan. If we weren’t in slow moving traffic we would’ve been in a serious accident. Dealer confirmed by running computer on car that the brake system motor stopped working and lost communication with power steering, transmission, central gateway, brake system control, and engine control. Key fob does not work even when inside vehicle or either cup holders. I was able to use auto start a few times but having both keys inside or using one or the other spare or primary causes the no key fob message. The only thing that has worked has been to open hood, disconnect primary battery terminal and wait ten minutes. Afterwards, everything seems to be working. I drove back to my location turn the vehicle off and who won out about an hour later started and the power steering was working. Upon looking the issue up online I found that other models of my Tahoe have had a recall but no particular model has not.

The vehicle has stalled three times since I bought it a week ago. I will be driving and the engine will stall, putting the vehicle into neutral gear. The dashboard will then instruct me to press the power button, and when I do the vehicle restarts and will be in park. It has happened once while driving on the interstate and twice while making turns into oncoming traffic. When I go to accelerate there will be no acceleration, the vehicle will just be in neutral with no warning.

The vehicle in question had approximately 5000 miles when low oil light came on, it was 2 quarts low. this was after the first oil change at around 3500 miles. I had the dealer do an oil consumption evaluation. They check the oil every 500 miles and confirmed it was using 2 quarts every 2500 miles. They informed me GM says this is normal. I cannot disagree more with that claim. GM knows they have a problem with the 6.2-liter engine. I have researched the issue and found they have a problem with the crankshaft machining and the oil deliver…

Front passenger wheel has a fracture. The structural integrity of the wheel is compromised and is causing the tire to leak air, which is dangerous and can cause loss of vehicle control and damage to suspension or brakes. It could also cause dangerous blowouts, which causes a safety concern for me and others on the road if that happens. The problem has been confirmed by the dealership where the vehicle was purchased. Photos were taken and submitted to GM for warranty. The warranty was denied. The vehicle has not been inspected by anyone else…

Vehicle lost all braking capability while in motion. Vehicle rolled to a stop with no brakes with warnings for brake system failure, no front collision active. Upon restarting the vehicle the warnings didnt not go way for 1hr. 2 hours later the warnings cleared from the information system but codes remains. Vehicle was taken to Uptown Chevrolet, Slinger WI and was informed of a bad battery as the "cause" of the issue. A bad battery should not result in the loss of braking capability on any vehicle!

My vehicle started having stuttering/shifting issues back in August 2025, I was advised the vehicle did not need new engine but upgraded oil. I continued to have the issues and have continued to bring back to dealer for constant software updates - cannot duplicate issue meanwhile the stop sale order was issued and I was not advised. The vehicle then experienced very hard jerking- stall- that lead to the dealership putting an AWD IN 2WD calling it a fix! Just got vehicle back again after a complete stall at a stop sign- causing vehicle to roll…

After start up, there is no audio coming from the vehicle. No audio from entertainment system, no audio from turn signal and no audio from fasten seat belt "chime". Restarting vehicle does not change the outcomes, initially. Exiting the vehicle and restarting about 10 minutes later, all audio returns, including entertainment sytem, audible turn signal indicator and fasten seat belt chime (if seat belt is not engaged). This has occured on several occasions since about 11/1/2024.

Less than 2 months later the front wheels started making a squeaking sound intermittently when accelerating, coasting or breaking. There were no warning messages. The dealership/mechanic looked over the car & said that the front brakes were measuring 2mm (completely worn out) but no other issues.
