19V336000 · Equipment:Appliance:Air Conditioner | Electrical System:Wiring:Fuses And Circuit Breakers

Reported: 2019-04-30 (April 30, 2019) · Model years: 2019, 2020

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Coachmen Beyond, Crossfit and Galleria motorhomes equipped with ProAir air conditioning systems. The wiring for ProAir system may be undersized for the potential load. Additionally, the circuit was not fuse or breaker protected.

Consequence: The undersized wiring on the unprotected circuit may be overloaded and melt, increasing the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Forest River has notified owners, and dealers will replace the wiring and install a circuit breaker, free of charge. The recall began May 20, 2019. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-825-8590. Forest River's number for this recall is 225-1003.

20V479000 · Equipment

Reported: 2020-08-14 (August 14, 2020) · Model years: 2020

Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain 2020 Coachmen Beyond, 2017-2019 Coachmen CrossFit, and 2016-2020 Galleria motorhomes. The awning may deploy while the vehicle is moving.

Consequence: An awning that deploys while the vehicle is moving increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will install a circuit interrupter, free of charge. This recall began September 23, 2020. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-825-6310. Forest Rivers's number for this recall is 225-1217.

22V361000 · Equipment:Appliance:Oven/Stove/Cooktop

Reported: 2022-05-20 (May 20, 2022) · Model years: 2021, 2022

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Coachmen Galleria, Beyond, and Nova motorhomes, equipped with certain 2-burner cooktops. The burner control valves may become damaged, causing a gas leak.

Consequence: A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the cooktop, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 15, 2022. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service Phone Number 1-574-825-6319. Forest River's number for this recall is 51-1513.

23V286000 · Fuel System, Gasoline:Delivery:Hoses, Lines/Piping, And Fittings

Reported: 2023-04-21 (April 21, 2023) · Model years: 2021, 2022, 2023

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Coachmen Galleria, Beyond, Forester, Sunseeker, and 2021-2024 Nova motorhomes, equipped with certain Cummins Onan QG 2800i, and Onan QG 2800i EVAP generator sets. The fuel hose between the inline fuel filter and the Injection Pump Module (IPM) may have inadequate clamp force, possibly resulting in a gasoline leak.

Consequence: A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Cummins Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel hose and clamps, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 17, 2023. Owners may contact Cummins at: (800) CUMMINS OR (800) 286-6467. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-206-7600, or Coachmen Class B customer service at 1-574-825-8602. Reported: 2024-01-25 (January 25, 2024) · Model years: 2021, 2022, 2023

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Coachmen Galleria, 2021-2023 Forest River Beyond, and 2021-2023 Coachmen Nova Class B motorhomes. The retractable awning may extend unintentionally during transit.

Consequence: An awning extending unintentionally during transit may become a distraction or road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will install a wedge to support the internal components in the gearbox and replace the motor as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 9, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-825-6319. Forest River's number for this recall is 225-1723.

22V737000 · Electrical System:Software | Equipment:Recreational Vehicle/Trailer

Reported: 2022-10-04 (October 4, 2022) · Model years: 2022, 2023

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Coachmen Beyond, Galleria, and Nova recreational vehicles, equipped with certain Multiplex Electronic Control Modules (ECM). The ECM software may cause the awning to unintentionally extend or retract when the vehicle is parked.

Consequence: An awning that unintentionally extends or retracts increases the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will update the Electronic Control Module (ECM), free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 24, 2022. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-825-4995; Firefly customer service at 1-574-825-4600; or Coachmen customer service at 1-574-825-6319 or 574-825-6225. Reported: 2023-02-09 (February 9, 2023) · Model years: 2023

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Coachmen Galleria, 2023 Coachmen Beyond, and 2023 Nova motorhomes, equipped with SDS2 2-Burner Drop-in Cooktops with part numbers 3031AST and 3032AST. The internal aluminum burner tubes that connect to the gas valves may fracture and cause a gas leak.

Consequence: A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will install a regulator support bracket, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 13, 2023. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-825-6307. Forest River's number for this recall is 225-1601.

23V575000 · Electrical System

Reported: 2023-08-14 (August 14, 2023) · Model years: 2024

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024 Coachmen Beyond, Galleria, and Nova motorhomes, equipped with certain SmartPlug 30-Amp Shore Power Inlets. The manganese bronze D-rings may crack or fail when over-tightened.

Consequence: A D-ring that cracks or fails may allow wires to loosen, causing electrical arcing and increasing the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will install a new smart plug, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 16, 2023. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 574-825-6319. Forest River's number for this recall is 225-1669.

Belt separation caused excessive vibration and would have quickly led to catastrophic failure had it not been replaced immediately. Hankook Dynapro HT 195/75R16C A number of other owners have reported similar failures in the Coachmen Beyond forum we participate in.

205/75R16C front left tire blew out. Complete tire tread separating. Traveling 60 mph. No warning. Tread depth was 8/32 at the time. Caused vehicle to lose control. Seems to be a reoccurrence with Hankook on the vehicles

Gasoline is leaking from the generator.. Delivery of this brand new unit was taken on 6-28-2023 .. Driven from Jacksonville Fl to my driveway in Mount Dora, FL .. A 2 hour drive .. On Sunday 7-2-2023, my wife started the generator to configure the Wi-Fi .. Fortunately I was standing by the side door and heard a liquid noise from under the vehicle .. Looked under to see and smell gasoline pouring from the generator .. NOT DRIPPING, POURING OUT.. Under pressure .. Using the internet, I found a known NTHSA recall on these models from Cummins…
