Reported: 2025-05-20 (May 20, 2025) · Model years: 2016, 2017, 2018

Braun Ambulances (Braun Ambulances) is recalling certain 2016-2018 Demers MXP150E, MX164E, 2016-2024 Transit TSE, 2024 Transit TXE, and 2018- 2020 Demers Ambulances vehicles. The cushion equipment storage may not have been properly installed, resulting in unsecured equipment.

Consequence: Items that detach during transit increase the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the cushion assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 18, 2025. Owners may contact Braun Ambulances customer service at 1-877-344-9990. Braun Ambulances number for this recall is Cushion.

23V117000 · Structure:Body:Step/Ladder

Reported: 2023-02-23 (February 23, 2023) · Model years: 2022

Braun Ambulances (Braun) is recalling certain 2022 Demers ambulances, models MX164E, MX170E, MXP150E, MXP150Z, MXP153E, MXP170MLE, MXP170Z, and 2020, 2022 MXP170E. The rear step of the ambulance may fail under weight due to incorrect welding.

Consequence: A rear entry step that unexpectedly fails while in use increases the risk of injury to the user.

Remedy: Braun will send a reinforcement plate to be installed on the rear step, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 11, 2023. Owners may contact Braun customer service at 1-877-344-9990.
