WHEN SLOWING DOWN AFTER DRIVING IN OVERDRIVE AND PRIOR TO ENGINE REACHING NORMAL OPERATING TEMPERATURE ALL LIGHTS (HEAD, TAIL, DASH, DOME, ETC) DIM TO A NEARLY OFF BRIGHTNESS AND COME RIGHT BACK TO NORMAL BRIGHTNESS AT THE 3/2 DOWN SHIFT. THIS HAS OCCURRED SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS NEW AND THE DEALER ADVISES THAT EVERYTHING IS WORKING AS DESIGNED. I DON'T THINK CHRYSLER DESIGNED THE LIGHTS TO FLASH OFF AND ON WHEN SLOWING DOWN. I went into the Dodge place for my routine oil change on 2/3/26. While waiting, it was discovered by a technician that I had a very bad oil leak. This is very alarming to me. One reason is, there were no signs that I had an oil leak. A few examples: my oil sensor light did not come on, no oil spots recognized on concrete, or no smell of possible oil burning. The Dodge automotive technician determined the cause to be my engine oil cooler. Engine oil leaked all over everything under the housing (can provide a video). Another reason this alarms me…

I purchased this van from a used car lot in December of 2025. After driving it for a little over 2 weeks the check engine light came on. My mechanic did a computer check on it and it showed that the transmission is bad. Apparently, through much investigation work on my part, the warranty I paid for on the vehicle is “void” because the dealer that I purchased it from was well aware that it needed a transmission! They reset the computer according to what I was able to find out, and then sold it to me. It’s a 2019 model and for the transmission …

Without warning, the van began lurching forward at a stop light almost causing a collision and then completely stalled having to be towed to the shop. Several times now, intermittently, my 2019 van has turned off on me as I am driving or am stopped at a red light, although most commonly it has occurred when I was driving. The van has stopped while I am driving various speeds, notably around the 10-40 mph. It will turn on once I come to a full stop, shift to park, and turn the key again. I've had the battery and alternator checked and they are in perfect working condition. This is a very dangerous situation.

The Oil Filter Housing Unit was loose, causing oil to slow-leak into the spark plugs, resulting in my engine misfiring. According to the mechanic that worked on my vehicle, this is common in a lot of newer vans like the Caravan and the Chrysler Town And Country. On three separate occasions the engine has stalled while idling. The Van needs to be placed into Park, the ignition turned off, and then turned back on. No check engine lights or warns of the vehicle having any issues.

I was in line at a fast food drive thru when a strange noise began coming from under my hood. When I went to drive forward, the engine revved but the vehicle didn’t move at first. It finally jerked into gear and I proceeded to exit the line and to a stop sign before driving onto the main road. I had no problem taking off from the stop sign but as I was accelerating on the main road, I got up to about 35mph and the vehicle revved again, but this time it stopped moving in the middle of the road. The car behind me blew their horn and ran off th…

NOW YOU HAVE TO PULL YOUR LEG BACK AND UP HITTING THE STEERING WHEEL IN THE PROCESS. ATTACHED PICTURE IS WITH ACCELLERATOR IN IDLE POSITION.

WHILE TRAVELING AROUND 30MPH, BRAKES WERE APPLIED IN A "PANIC STOP" FASHION - FAST HARD DEPRESSION. THE ROAD WAS STRAIGHT, CLEAN AND DRY. VISIBILITY WAS EXCELLENT AND THE VIEW WAS CLEAR FOR ABOUT A HALF MILE. WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED IT FELT AS THOUGH THE ABS SYSTEM INTERFERED WITH BRAKING, CAUSING NO ACTUAL FORCE TO BE APPLIED TO THE BRAKES. NO DECELERATION WAS FELT BY THE DRIVER, OR ANY OF THE OTHER TWO PASSENGERS. ALTHOUGH THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS FULLY DEPRESSED, THE VAN CONTINUED AT A SPEED OF ABOUT 35MPH FOR AN ADDITIONAL 70-80 FEET WIT…

I HAD AN ACCIDENT YESTERDAY WHEN TRYING TO PARK THE CAR ACCELERATED TO THE POINT THAT I HIT A GARAGE DOOR DAMAGING THE CAR INSIDE, ALL WHILE MY FOOT WAS ON THE BRAKE PEDAL PRESSING VERY HARD. WHEN I PUT THE CAR IN REVERSE WHILE MY FOOT WAS ON THE BRAKE THE CAR SHOOT BACK AT TREMENDOUS SPEED, IT WOULD NOT STOPED REGARDLESS OF MY FOOT PRESSING ON THE BRAKE AS FAR AS THE BRAKE GOES. I HIT A CAR PARKED ON THE STREET WITH SUCH FORCE THAT PUSHED IT ON TOP OF THE SIDEWALK CAUSING EXTENSIVE DAMAGE. I,WAS,,TRAVELING UP 38TH STREET IN UNION CITY AND …
