Recall history

3 distinct campaigns affect this selection. Announcement dates below are different from vehicle model years. A campaign may cover multiple years.

24V667000 · Equipment:Other:Labels

Reported: 2024-09-11 (September 11, 2024) · Model years: 2023, 2024

Ember Recreational Vehicles, INC (Ember) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Overland Series, Touring Edition, and E-Series travel trailers. The certification labels list an incorrect cargo carrying capacity, which can allow the trailer to become overloaded. As such, these trailers fail to comply with 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."

Consequence: An overloaded trailer increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Ember will mail labels to owners, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 19, 2024. Owners may contact Ember customer service at 1-844-732-4204.

26V469000 · Equipment:Other:Labels

Reported: 2026-07-21 (July 21, 2026) · Model years: 2027

Ember Recreational Vehicles, INC. (Ember) is recalling certain 2027 Overland Series, E-Series, and Touring Series travel trailers. Remedy: Dealers will replace the labels, free of charge. Additionally, Ember will mail replacement labels to owners. Owner notification letters were mailed August 5, 2026. Owners may contact Ember customer service at 1-844-732-4204.

I was issued a recall, Recall No. 26V065, on my 2026 Ember E Series camper. The recall was in regard to the Unloaded Vehicle Weight and the Cargo Carrying Capacity listed on the certification label being incorrect. My issue is that when i reached out to the vendor, they indicated this was the second recall affecting a total of 3 model years, but they have only been in business 6 years (since 2021). Are there safeguards to this? If a manufacturer has been in business 6 years, and 3 of those years they've had to issue a safety recall for impr…

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.

Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
