Reported: 2005-04-28 (April 28, 2005) · Model years: 2005
CERTAIN TOWABLE TRAVEL TRAILERS WERE BUILT WITHOUT A BEDROOM EMERGENCY EGRESS WINDOW.
Consequence: IN THE EVENT OF A FIRE OR OTHER EMERGENCY, PERSONS IN THE FRONT BEDROOM AREA MUST EXIT THROUGH THE ACCESS DOOR. IF THE ACCESS DOOR IS BLOCKED, THERE IS NO WAY OUT OF THE TRAILER, INCREASING THE RISK OF INJURIES TO THE TRAILER OCCUPANTS.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE CURRENT SLIDING WINDOW WITH AN EMERGENCY EGRESS EXIT WINDOW FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON MAY 27, 2005. OWNERS MAY CONTACT FLEETWOOD FOLDING TRAILER AT 1-814-445-9661.
Reported: 2006-09-07 (September 7, 2006) · Model years: 2007
CERTAIN TRAVEL TRAILERS MAY HAVE BEEN EQUIPPED WITH IMPROPERLY CONSTRUCTED SPARE TIRE SUPPORT BRACKETS THAT CAUSE THE SPARE TIRE TO HANG TOO LOW TO THE GROUND.
Consequence: IF THE SPARE TIRE CONTACTS THE GROUND IT CAN BREAK AWAY FROM ITS SUPPORT, CREATING A ROAD HAZARD WHICH MAY RESULT IN VEHICLE DAMAGE AND/OR PERSONAL INJURY.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND RELOCATE THE SPARE TIRE AND CARRIER TO ALLOW SUFFICIENT GROUND CLEARANCE FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON OCTOBER 31, 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT FLEETWOOD AT 800-445-3307.

Emerging complaint spikes
Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.
This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.
No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
