Owner report 11595305 · 2024-06-19 (June 19, 2024)

Multiple times the acceleration has stuck and would not release when hitting the brakes. I have to stick my foot under the accelerator and lift the petal to get acceleration to stop. Without physically lifting the petal it would appear this continues indefinitely.

Owner report 11599568 · 2024-07-06 (July 6, 2024)

Twice when opening the drivers door, my 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor V6 has chimed and then displayed “Brake System Failure”. Starting the truck, shutting off the motor and locking/unlocking the drivers door appears to clear the message. The local Ford dealership updated the software and believed it corrected the issue. Today, I drove approximately 30 miles, shut off the engine, locked the door and had lunch. When entering the truck again, I got an alert chime and the dashboard had an error reading “Parking Brake Failure”.

Not 5 minutes ago I reported an issue to NHTSA regarding a 2024 Ford F-150 V6 Raptor. Just as I was submitting the form, I got an alert that remote features are disabled to preserve battery. The error texted to my phone states: “Don't worry though, nothing is wrong. This happens automatically when you haven't started your vehicle for a period of time.” I am not understanding why an error related to not driving recently would appear, I just drove about 70 miles round trip and have been home less than 30 minutes.

Owner report 11637248 · 2025-01-21 (January 21, 2025)

While driving, the screen in front of the driver (dash) which displays information such as speed, transmission gear, parking brake, and other important information, will flicker and/or be distorted. This results in driver distraction and may prevent the driver from seeing safety-related information such as vehicle speed while operating the vehicle. The issue is intermittent, but typically resets when the vehicle is powered off and back on.

The 2024 f-150 3.5L Ecoboost engine has a rough idle when the truck is in park or while sitting at a stop light. At times it will come and go and others it will be a constant vibration that you can feel in the steering wheel and seat. The engine also has an acceleration hesitation right after the first start of the day and usually goes away after driving a couple of minutes.

The cause of the accident was due to an extremely hard downshift, then extremely hard upshift. Between the speeds of 25-37 mph the truck will do a hard downshift with a 1-3 second loss of power delay. When it finally grabs gear it takes off like a rocket before grabbing the next gear and back to what feels normal. This is something I never experienced in my 2022 Ford F150 with the same motor and transmission. Took delivery of a new 2023 Ford F-150 on 2/18/2023. Upon inspection once at home I discovered excessive Rust/Oxidation in the underbody area. Specifically, there was excessive rust and oxidation in the following areas: Rear Differential, Rear Axle Casings, Rear Axle Hubs, and portions of the front Frame Rails. This amount of rust/oxidation should not exist in a new vehicle and has the potential to lead to a driving performance/braking incident/accident that could damage the truck and or injure vehicle passengers. The contact owns a 2024 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while her wife was driving at an undisclosed speed, upon coming to a complete stop at a stop light, the vehicle inadvertently stalled and initially failed to restart. The contact stated that after approximately 10 minutes the vehicle independently restarted. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who was unable to duplicate the failure or determine the cause of the failure. The contact was informed that no DTC codes had been retrieved. The vehicle was …

This particular day, I had pulled off to the side of the road to let the mail carrier go through the narrow section of the road first. Th…

My vehicle stalls at red lights in traffic. Warning lights tell me to put it in park and restart the engine. It started around July of 2025 just after a year of owning it. First time to service they could not replicate, but two subsequent visits to the dealer has been replicated repeatedly! They changed battery and GSM but failed to fix the problem. Returned it to me and it stalled repeatedly, as many as 4 times in a 20 minute period. I am terrified I will be injured and at some point I’ll not be able to restart it, one attempt took 4 times…

I purchased this vehicle new 7/31/25. Within the first week of ownership I noticed a noise coming from the rear axle. Brought into Ford dealer for diagnosis at 723 miles: tech notes indicated that the abs tone ring was not manufactured correctly and was hitting the ABS wheel speed sensor. The sensor had visible impact marks. The rear axle assembly was replaced under warranty. The repair took over 10 days. At this point I was concerned about the Q/C and build quality of the vehicle. I asked Ford for an extended warranty as a goodwill gesture, wh…
