I see there is a software recall update on trailer brake controller but not sure if that is the issue. The manual squeeze brakes did not work first time 5th wheel hooked up. The 7 pin trailer clip goes into a 5 pin harness and a 2 pin harness. The 2 pin is the brake control for the trailer. I traced the wiring to the next connector.. When the wiring was unplugged and replugged in the connection and braking system worked. It is located on driver side next to spare tire. The error was happening on both the truck bed 7 pin connector and hit…

The tailgate for my 2022 F-350 has opened while towing several times over the last two months. During one of these instances, the open tailgate struck and damaged my fifth wheel recreational vehicle (RV) trailer during a low speed left hand turn. The area where the tailgate hit our trailer is the battery compartment for our RV. If this where to happen at a high speed it has the potential to cause additional significant damage to a trailer and potentially cause consequential accidents while the vehicle is in motion. There was an open Custome…

Ford F-350 SWR, long bed, King Ranch. Purchase date: 6/20/2022, new. Problem with this truck is steering wander. While traveling extra attention has to be given to the location of the truck. Take your eyes off the road for a second and it's scary. You are assured you will be in a different location than expected, either off the road or on the wrong side of the yellow line. I pray I don't hit a pedestrian or cross over the yellow line into another vehicle. Since 2011 I have purchased 2 F150's, 1 F250, 3 F350's. None of the previous models and …

They said I will have to get it fixed on my own. The rear axle is a known flaw and was required to repair or replace by the NHTSA. I wonder how many other trucks have also had incomplete repairs and then reported as fixed?

This truck has 20,000 miles. I experienced what’s called the death wobble which nearly shook the truck off the road. The dealership told me a $2000 dollar duel steering stabilizer would fix the problem. I reluctantly payed for it as they said the lift voided the warranty. The truck is still not fixed and my wife nearly went off the road today driving it. I read online that a stabilizer doesn’t fix the problem it only masks the symptoms. I’m certain the dealership knows this.

Based on the information provided, I believe this will only mask the symptoms of a failure (detachment of the axle), and not the problem itself (crushing of the axle tubes due to insufficient tube wall thickness). Today I was getting ready to blow some snow out of my driveway and had to move my truck. It's normally parked at a slight incline where putting it in park is usually sufficient and have never needed to use a parking brake. When I re-parked the truck, I had to put it in 4WD to get up in the driveway because we had a lot of wet slushy snow. So after I get it parked, I put it back in 2WD, put it in park, and turn off the ignition. I then got out of the truck and started over to the snow blower to get back to work. The fan clutch assembly failed and as a result the drive mode would not change from tow/haul mode to any of the other 4 drive modes. Accelerations and decelerations were negatively affected as a result creating safety hazards when driving. The engine was always responding as if a trailer were attached and subsequently accelerations were difficult and decelerations consistently utilized the trailer engine braking system, similar to semi-trucks utilizing the Jake-Braking systems, This is a significant safety issue and needs to have a recall issue…
