YOU HAVE TO RIDE THE BRAKE AND SHIFT TO NEUTRAL TO REV THE ENGINE AND EVENTUALLY DISENGAGE THIS ACCELERATION PROCESS. I am writing to report an unresolved safety recall for my vehicle. I received Safety Recall Notice 25V695 in October 2025, and as of today, the recall has not been resolved because the required repair parts remain unavailable. This recall involves a safety-related defect, and the extended delay in providing a remedy raises serious safety concerns. I have contacted authorized dealerships, and I have been informed that parts are still on backorder with no estimated availability date. Given the amount of time that has passed since the recall not…

The future that failed on my vehicle was the epas or electronic power assisted steering. This feature failed while I was on the freeway at upwards of 65 mph the steering wheel locked and I was unable to turn the steering wheel. After pulling off of the freeway at slow speeds I was able to give a, very hard like pull to the steering wheel in the direction that I needed it to go. When this feature failed the notification on my dash showed "electronic power assisted steering failure. Service required." Definitely is a danger not only to myself but…

I turned left after stopping at a four-way stop sign intersection. I crashed into a parked car waiting its turn but I did not see until I was upon it and it was too late to swerve away. My car's air bags inflated. My wrist was broken. My car was declared totaled by my insurer although I could not have been speeding since I had just stopped at the four-way stop sign, waited my turn, and turned my car left onto a street that runs slightly downhill. I am still trying to comprehend how my wrist on my right hand was broken since both of my hands wer…

I purchased the car a week ago from a dealership and sadly that the car was as is. At the time nothing was wrong with the car, and 2 days later after the car APIM system started malfunctioning, I restarted the system and that did not work. I took to a dealership and they did the same thing I did and it is still the same. Dealership stated it could be the APIM malfunctioning on the car and it was going to cost me $900 to get it fixed. I haven't had the car for a week and things are already going bad. No warning light appeared before the inciden…

THE POWER STEERING ON THIS VEHICLE LOCKED UP MAKING IT VERY DIFFICULT TO IMPOSSIBLE TO STEER THE VEHICLE. THIS INCIDENT OCCURRED AT LOW SPEEDS BUT IF IT HAD HAPPENED AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS THEIR WOULD HAVE BEEN NO WAY TO STEER THE VEHICLE SAFELY TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD.

THE POWER STEERING ON THIS UNIT FAILED MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO STEER THE VEHICLE. I WAS ADVISED THAT THIS ISSUED OCCURRED AT LOW SPEEDS AND AS A RESULT NO ACCIDENT WAS REPORTED. THE VEHICLE HAD TO BE TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR REPAIRS. DO NOT HAVE THE INVOICE FOR THIS REPAIR AT THE TIME OF SENDING THIS COMPLAINT. IF YOU NEED IT I WILL GET IT FOR YOU.

I TOOK MY CAR INTO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT DUE TO A STRONG SMELL OF PROPANE/NATURAL GAS. THE SERVICE WRITER INFORMED ME THAT THE SMELL WAS REALLY BAD BUT THAT IT SHOULD BE SAFE TO DRIVE AND THAT SHE COULDN'T GET ME IN UNTIL TUESDAY. I BUCKLED MY 2 YEAR OLD IN THE CAR SEAT AND LEFT THE DEALERSHIP/SERVICE DEPARTMENT. THE SERVICE WRITE STATED THAT THERE WAS A TSB OUT ON THE CAR AND IT COULD BE A POSSIBLE LEAK IN THE PTU. BUT SHOULD BE THAT BIG OF DEAL. WE STARTED TO TRAVEL HOME THE CAR STALLED, ON A HIGHWAY TRAVELING AT ABOUT 60 MILES PER HOUR, AND…

Smell of gas inside and outside of 2016 Ford Taurus while driving and while not driving. Dealer hasn't done anything to correct the problem despite consumer's on going requests both at the dealership and corporate executive level. All ford did was to take $248.42 from consumer on 12/22/21 for allegedly cleaning fuel injectors, intake manifold, ports and combustion chamber which should have been covered by the 7 year warranty which consumer purchased from dealer on 5/20/16 when vehicle was. Dealer refused to cover this defect under the warranty.…
