THE RADIO SPEAKERS STOP WORKING OUTSIDE THEN THE ENTIRE RADIO DOES NOT COME ON. THE TV WAS WORKING THEN ONLY THE SOUND AND NOW IT JUST KEEPS GIVING A RUN CODE PROCESS. AND THE REFRIGERATOR ON THE INSIDE KEEPS GOING OFF AND ON FOR NO REASON. WE REPLACED THE FUSE BUT IT CONTINUES TO HAPPEN. WE REALLY WOULD LIKE TO GET THESE ISSUES FIXED. I WAS PERFORMING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE ON MY TRAILER WHEN I NOTICED TWO BROKEN WELDS ON THE DEXTER TORFLEX AXLE. I CONTACTED DEXTER AXLE AND THEY SAID THE COMBINATION 3" AXLE BRACKET & LIFT KIT ON MY TRAILER ARE NOT COMPATIBLE AS IT CAN RESULT IN BROKEN WELDS, AND IF UNTREATED, AXLE FAILURE. THIS IS THE NOTICE ON THEIR WEBSITE: "NOTE: LIFT KITS CANNOT BE USED WITH TORFLEX AXLES PRODUCED WITH 3" HIGH PROFILE BRACKETS." I CONTACTED PALOMINO ABOUT DEXTER'S RESPONSE AND THEY CONFIRMED FOR ME VIA EMAIL THAT DEXTER AXLE SHIPS THE ENTIRE ASS…

This is a Forest River, Palomino Solaire Travel Trailer model# 205SS. It is a dual-axle unit. While winterizing the unit and filling the tires, I observed that the frame has a large crack in on the right-hand side (passenger side) of the unit. The crack is "L" shaped and is about 5" (125 mm) total length. More specifically it is located where the rearmost axle bracket is attached. I believe this is a safety issue that needs immediate attention. The unit has a Lippert brand frame.

I purchased a 2021 Palomino Solaire 163x in April 2021. The trailer is equipped with a Furrion FAN73B3C Omni directional wing antenna. On the second use the wing came off the base while towing. This same antenna defect is the subject of a recall on Keystone trailers. The problem is clearly broader and should include the antenna itself, whatever trailer/rig it is in, not just the Keystone trailer. My missing wing is no less a hazard because it came from a Palomino rather than Keystone.

I purchased my 2025 Palomino Columbus RV in February of 2025. I have towed it less than 600 miles, so including the delivery from the factory the RV has less than 2,000 miles. While inspecting the RV I noticed that the wheel spacing between the front and rear tires was different from side to side. The passenger (right) side was 5" but the driver's (left) side was 8.5". I inspected the suspension and found that the left side rear axle had slipped back on the leaf spring. The leaf spring centering pin had sheared allowing the axle to move back. T…

The pressure coupler that connects the propane line to the pilot light of the refrigerator was not torqued and was not affixed to keep in place and was fingers strength loose letting propane gas leak. Our camper trailer caught fire after parking , the smoke alarms did not go off, we were in the forest , luckily we acted quickly and used the extinguisher to stop the fire from spreading. At the time there was no one in the trailer but could have been different. We are luckily that the fire occurred when all of us were not in the trailer or sleep…

We recently purchased the Palomino from State 48 RV dealer in Mesa Az. We travel for the summer. On our 4th campground, our watchdog surge power unit showed an improper wiring at the pedestal. Campground electrician checked the pedestal and determined it was wired correctly and the problem was with the trailer. We hired an RV TECH and he found the main power supply pinched between the frame and the trailer that sits on the frame. Causing wires to become bare and the wires began to burn. The RV TECH replaced the power supply and routed the …

OUR RV HAS SOFT AREAS IN OUR ENTIRE FLOOR DUE TO FLOOR JOISTS BEING TOO FAR APART AND SUB STANDARD MATERIALS BEING USED. FOREST RIVER WILL REPAIR IF YOU WERE ORIGINAL OWNER BUT WE PURCHASED OUR 1 YEAR OLD UNIT IN AUGUST OF 2016....THESE UNITS SHOULD BE RECALLED. I CAN SUPPLY YOU WITH 82 OWNERS WHO HAD THE SAME PROBLEMS...THIS IS OBVIOUSLY A FACTORY DESIGN FLAW, WHICH I FEEL SHOULD BE REPAIRED AT THE COMPANY'S EXPENSE. IT SHOULDN'T MATTER WHETHER YOU'RE THE ORIGINAL OWNER OR NOT. THE FLAW IS STILL THERE. WE WERE TOLD BY FOREST RIVER REPRESENTAT…

I WAS PULLING MY TRAVEL TRAILER, A 2016 FOREST RIVER VIBE 315BHK, FROM GARNER STATE PARK IN CONCAN, TX TO CONROE, TX. HEADING EASTBOUND ON HIGHWAY 90, I EXPERIENCED A BLOWOUT IN THE DRIVER SIDE REAR TRAILER TIRE WHICH IS LABELED AS A CASTLE ROCK ST225/75R15 LOAD RATING D TIRE. I PUT ON THE SPARE WHICH IS THE EXACT SAME CASTLE ROCK TIRE AS THE TIRE THAT HAD JUST BLOWN OUT. IT HAD NEVER BEEN USED BEFORE AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN COVERED. THIS SPARE TIRE BLEW OUT ON I-10 IN TX JUST PAST LULING, TX AT MILE MARKER 649. AT THIS POINT, I HAD NO SPARE…

I PURCHASED A NEW 2018 304RKDS GT3 CAMPER AND ON MAY 18, 2020 I HAD THREE TIRES BLOW OUT ON OPPOSITE SIDES OF THE CAMPER ON DIFFERENT AXLES. TIRES HAD AROUND 3890 MILES ON THEM AND WERE PROPERLY INFLATED AND WERE KEPT UNDER A COVERED SHELTER WHEN NOT IN USE. THE FIRST ONE HAPPENED ON THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT AXLE AROUND 11:00 A.M. AT AROUND 40 MPH AFTER AROUND 20 MINS OF TRAVEL. WHEN TIRE BLEW IT CAUSED INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR DAMAGE TO THE CAMPER. REPLACED IT WITH THE SPARE TIRE AND TRIED TO PROCEED TO DELIVER THE UNIT TO THE DEALERSHIP. AROUND …

The contact owns a 2021 Forest River Palomino. The contact stated that shortly after purchasing the travel trailer, it was discovered that line seams and cracks were present in the floor of the coach of the vehicle. Additionally, appliances had moved slightly out of position inside the unit. The trailer was taken to the local dealer who determined that the trailer needed a support bracket to support the sub-center of the vehicle. No further information was available. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was also notified of the fa…

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.
