TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 FOREST RIVER SHOCKWAVE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AN ATTEMPT WAS MADE BY HIM TO CHANGE THE OIL IN THE TRAILER HOWEVER, HE DISCOVERED THAT THERE WAS A DISTANCE BETWEEN THE GENERATOR AND THE OIL FILTER. DUE TO THE DISTANCE, THE OIL FILTER COULD NOT BE REMOVED TO REPLACE THE OIL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE HAD TO UNBOLT THE GENERATOR FROM THE FRAME OF THE TRAILER TO REMOVE THE OIL FILTER AND REPLACE THE OIL. THE CONTACT THEN CALLED AN INDEPENDENT RV DEALER WHERE HE PURCHASED THE TRAILER AND THE DEALER INFORMED THE MANUFAC…

On [XXX], while traveling NB on [XXX], my 2022 Forest River Shockwave (purchased new in July 2022), suffered a catastrophic suspension failure on the driver's side while hauling my son's dirt bike and a golf cart. After being previously torqued to spec, it still somehow loosened itself and suffered a failure, shearing off lugs. The back spring was collapsed and after getting towed to RV Country in Kelso, loose shackle bolts were …

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.

Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
