TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FOUR WINDS CHATEAU SPORT RV. WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE MICROWAVE INVOLUNTARILY ACTIVATED. THE CONTACT INQUIRED WITH AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC ABOUT THE FAILURE AND WAS ADVISED THAT THE MICROWAVE WAS UNDER RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT HER MICROWAVE SERIAL NUMBER WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL ASSOCIATED WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 03V449000 (EQUIPMENT: RECREATIONAL VEHICLE). THE VEHICLE MICROWAVE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 35,000.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FOUR WINDS CHATEAU SPORT. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO FILL THE VEHICLE WITH GAS. THE FAILURE OCCURRED EVERY THIRD TIME HE ATTEMPTED TO FILL THE TANK. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE VENT TUBE WAS TOO CLOSE TO THE FILLER NECK. THE RUBBER HOSE WAS SHORTENED AND REINSTALLED. AS OF NOVEMBER 5, 2007, THERE HAD BEEN NO FURTHER OCCURRENCES; HOWEVER, THE CONTACT FELT THAT THIS WOULD NOT CORRECT THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,200 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 16,530. UPDATED 01/09/08. *LJ THE CONSUMER STATED THE VENT TUBE …

HE STATED THAT THE REPAIR WAS MERELY A BAND-AID AND NOT A PERMANENT REPAIR. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT YET BEEN REPAIRED, BUT WILL BE SOON. THE MILEAGES AND RECALL NUMBER WERE UNKNOWN.
