TALKING WITH WINNEBAGO AND CUMMINGS ENGINE THEY BOTH STATED THIS WAS A CHASSIS PROBLEM AND CONTACT FREIGHTLINER. I CALLED THEM IN ORLANDO FLORIDA AND THEY STATED THEY WERE AWARE OF SOME PROBLEM WITH THE DASH INSTRUMENT PANEL OR ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL CONTROL BOARD. THEY ALSO STATED THERE COULD BE AN ELECTRICAL SHORT IN THE WIRING HARNESS. I DID NOT HAVE AN ACCIDENT AND DID NOT LIKE…

My problems are the same as what is listed in recall 21V-00H. I have experienced a loss of rear turn singles, brake lights not working, wind shield wipers going off no mater of switch position. The lack of rear lighting can in increase the possibility of a crash .

The drive shaft fwd carrier bearing was missing 2 of the 3 bolt that hold it to the cross member. Being held with one bolt change the center line of the drive shaft moving towards the driver's side of the truck this resulted the the drive shaft rubbing on a air tank hanger. I do have pictures. It looks like the missing bolts where never installed.

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
