This car had a lack of power since inception. The transmission had a horrible grinding sound during the upshift and down shifting of the transmission. Hyundai Corporation did replace the transmission but the grinding sound is not completely gone. The check engine light is currently on and has appeared for the second time with less than 6K on the odomoter. I have scheduled another appointment to take it in on 02/14/2022.

Vehicle lost power while normal driving. This happened multiple times. All dashboard lights turn on, then vehicle shut down/shut off. Had to safely pull over to shift gear into PARK, then restart vehicle. Vehicle acceleration is very poor, the more it does this. Vehicle feels like it’s not being provided fuel. On my app, vehicle show “ALL SYSTEMS NORMAL”. Purchased brand new, only 8500 highway miles.

No warning and no engine light when gas pedal is pressed down there is little to no acceleration. I was pulling out in the middle of traffic when this malfunction occurred. I could have been T-boned by oncoming vehicles and killed. It was not until I drove the vehicle a little longer that the engine light came on. The vehicles notification center showed a malfunction of the transmission. A diagnostic scan showed trouble codes P0763-Shift Solenoid C-Electrical and P0880-TCM Power Input Signal-Malfunction.

I have been getting a number of safety warning lights since about 6 months after buying this car. It is new, under warranty and I am first owner. They were intermittent initially, but have become increasingly frequent and are now associated with a constant warning ping. They can reproduce it (and have the codes) but they can not fix it (I took it to Crown Genesis of St. Pete twice for this problem) Genesis has not been interested in repurchasing this…

I purchased this vehicle brand new in July 2023. By Jan 2024, it was already having major issues. The 2 major issues with this vehicle are 1) it had an engine misfire ( thus engine and fuel system issues) that cut the power to the vehicle and made it dangerous to drive and thus had to be in at the Genesis dealer service center 3 times (Jan, April and May 2024). The 2nd problem is electrical. On Oct 1st, 2024 the brake lights wouldn't turn off at all despite several troubleshooting attempts. That electrical problem drained the battery and after…

The air conditioning system in my 2022 Genesis GV70 appears to have a recurring evaporator core failure that results in loss of cold air and unsafe driving conditions. The first failure occurred in March 2026 at approximately 60,541 miles. Prior to failure, the vehicle produced a whirring noise and inconsistent temperatures from different vents, eventually stopping the production of cold air entirely. The vehicle was taken to a dealership/service center, where no visible leak was found after a dye test was conducted. The refrigerant was evacua…

Suddenly the car started beeping at me saying the engine was shut off and I needed to put it into park or neutral immediately. The digital instrument cluster in my 2024 Genesis GV70 has failed multiple times while driving. The vehicle was taken to the dealership on December 20, 2025 for instrument cluster malfunction. The vehicle remained in the shop for approximately four weeks, and the instrument cluster module was replaced. The vehicle was returned to me on January 19, 2026 with representation that the issue had been corrected. On February 8, 2026, only 20 days after the repair, the instrument cluster failed again while the vehicle was in operation. The panel was …
