23V742000 · Equipment:Other:Labels

Reported: 2023-11-03 (November 3, 2023) · Model years: 2024

Gulf Stream Coach Inc. (Gulf Stream) is recalling certain 2024 Conquest, Independence, Trailmaster, Friendship, and Ameri-Lite, model 177BH, travel trailers. The Federal certification label may contain incorrect tire size and tire pressure information. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims," and 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."

Consequence: Incorrect tire information may result in overinflated tires and cause a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Gulf Stream will mail replacement labels to owners, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 4, 2023. Owners may contact Gulf Stream at 1-800-289-8787.

26V010000 · Exterior Lighting:Turn Signal

Reported: 2026-01-15 (January 15, 2026) · Model years: 2026

Gulf Stream Coach, Inc. (Gulf Stream) is recalling certain 2026 Trail Boss and Ameri-Lite trailers. Wires in the taillight harness may be reversed, causing the turn signals to activate in the opposite direction as the driver intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Consequence: Turn signals that fail to indicate the driver's intention to change direction increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Owners are advised not to tow their trailers until the repair has been completed. Dealers will rewire the turn signals, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 21, 2026. Owners may contact Gulf Stream customer service at 1-800-289-8787. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning January 31, 2026.

Wheel stud broke off while in transit. Other studs were found to have been over torqued while new. Other wheel studs on same hub had stripped threads. Wheel bearings on both axel hubs had very limited grease. Possible loss of wheel from missing wheel stud and other damaged studs. Limited grease in wheel bearings could cause bearings failure with possible catastrophic results. Replaced hub with damaged studs is available for inspection. Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
