Complaint evidence
Examples provide context, not a representative sample or a verified diagnosis.
On 2 occasions the motorcycle has abruptly gone into limp mode. I took it to the dealership under warranty and they ran historic codes, P1511,P1100 and P2135 which is voltage correlation error. They tried duplicating the issue without success. I understand this is a historic problem with Harley and has to be addressed by searching the wiring system which apparently they did not do. This is a continuing dangerous situation as it can shut the bike down at any time and cause a serious if not fatal accident.

The plastic clutch cable adjuster broke & caused the clutch to begin slipping while riding up a hill. The bike would not move forward & had to be pulled to the side of the road.
I rented a motorcycle from EagleRider in the United States and discovered that the speedometer displayed only kilometers per hour (kph), with no miles per hour (mph). This is not just inconvenient , it is illegal under Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 123, which requires that motorcycles in the U.S. display speed in mph, or both mph and kph. Because the bike was non-compliant, I was unable to reliably follow U.S. speed limits for hundreds of miles during a multi-day trip. I had to either guess at my speed or rely on a GPS phone ap…
