Owner report 11618946 · 2024-10-09 (October 9, 2024)

On Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024 at approx 7:45 am, I started this car with approx 3,900 miles and every available warning light in the dash cluster illuminated (see photos I’ve attached). I immediately shut off the vehicle and waiting several moments, then restarted. It appeared even more lights illuminated. I attempted to immediately drive the car to nearby honda dealership but the car’s shifter was locked in park, the steering wheel was also locked dead center. Had it towed to dealer and it has been there one week now. Honda has no answers. They …

It seems like the steering gear assembly is making a popping/clicking noise when stopped or at slow speeds. This has been diagnosed by an independent shop and inspected by a Honda Master Technician and confirmed that the steering gear assembly has an internal issue. It was informed to me to have the car immediately serviced at the dealership due to a MAJOR safety concern to myself and others on the road as if the steering gear were to malfunction it could cause a crash. There are no warning lamps or any messages on the dashboard that has p…

I was trying to back up and the car would not go. A warning on the dash came on that said collision Mitigation System problem, see your dealer. I put the car in drive and it hesitated like a brake was on. .I couldn't get above 10 miles per hour. It was like I was trying to go forward, but someone was pulling me back at the same time. I took it to the dealer and they said nothing was wrong.

On 2 separate occasions while driving, I have taken an exit that has 2 left and 2 right turn lanes. While I'm in the middle left turn lane and a car is in the middle right turn lane the radar cone for the emergency braking system will trigger an imminent collision and slam on the brakes even though cars are in completely different lanes and I have nothing in front of me. Both incidents have caused near misses from cars behind me. I'm not sure I even feel safe driving this car anymore, if technology that is supposed to keep me and my passengers …

The airbag was stolen from my 2025 Honda Accord SE without breaking the window. The door lock was broken easily and the airbag removed quickly. This is a serious safety and security concern. A person can steal a critical safety component without major damage. I am financially stressed because the vehicle is financed and I depend on it for work. I am concerned about the vehicle’s design security and safety.

While driving steering wheel becomes resistant at times, when attempting to turn left or right or navigating a curve steering wheel resist thus having to give extra effort to accomplish task. During this time steering wheel becomes very difficult to turn, then becomes free turning and immediately returns to being tight. At times steering acts as if you're going between a power steering wheel to a non power steering. Having such issues could definitely reduce ones reaction time when steering.

Several times the vehicle has automatically braked at low speeds (20-30 mph), nothing in front of the vehicle to cause this. Today it automatically braked...HARD...at 55 mph, again, nothing in front of vehicle, clear morning, road was clear. It braked so hard I'm pretty sure I have whiplash. I immediately called Victory Honda. They told me to go wash my car and call them back if it happens again. The only warning it gave was the brake light and beeping, but it was instant. Thankful there was no one behind me.

My safety was put at great risk as there is nothing I could have done to prevent this problem. As I am going 75 miles an hour with vehicles behind me, my glass exploded. Car swerved to the left unexpectedly causing it to do a 180 degree turn and impact the drivers side. Side airbags deployed and emergency response was initiated. Prior to the swerve in question, the car had experienced about 6 smaller swerves that we attributed initially to a wind gust. All of the swerves felt like a strong wind was hitting the drivers side rear quarter area. The Estimate of repair for the insurance company indicates damage to Left Lower Control Arm, Left Trailing Arm, and Left Upper Control Arm.

They …

Bought a brand new Honda 2024 at a dealership, since picking up the car we noticed it was black and white and not clear, assumed it was a setting issue so paperwork was completed and we took the car home. Issue persisted, notified dealership and appointment was made to replace camera. Issue was confirmed by dealership and camera replaced. About to exit the dealership, put car on reve…

Car parked for 6 days while on vacation. Came back it started fine but 30 mins into travel, I lost power steering while on the highway next to a tractor trailer and the warning lights were shifting through a cycle of warnings of things not working. It told me to go to the dealership which I brought on my way home. They looked and said it was because i didn't drive it. The car is 1 year old and that battery should be working. I travel at least 120 miles a day5 days a week so there isn't a deficit of charging. Regardless, this should not be n…

ISSUE TYPE: Safety Concern “Brakes Auto Engage When Driving At ANY Speed and Parking Brake Lever Is Raised” DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM: I inadvertently lifted up on the Parking Brake switch in center console while driving about 30mph, trying to turn off a different switch on the console. This caused the vehicle to slam-on the brakes, narrowly avoiding a rear-end collision. It is labeled as a Parking Brake but is also an Emergency Brake (I discovered) that can be triggered by anyone who has their hand around the center console and accidentally …

While driving home from work in my 2024 Honda Accord EX 1.5T, multiple warning lights suddenly came on on the dashboard. Shortly afterward, I began smelling a strong gasoline/fuel odor inside the passenger compartment. I stopped the vehicle and got out. I could also smell gasoline outside the vehicle. I opened the hood and the gasoline odor was still noticeable from the engine compartment. Because I was concerned about the safety of the vehicle, I went to the nearest O’Reilly Auto Parts and had the vehicle scanned. The diagnostic scan showed P0…

In Feb. 2026, I had a software recall service performed on my Honda Accord. Later that same day, a persistent error message appeared on my dash: Software Update Not Available See Dealer. I contacted the dealer and they said sometimes that error message clears on its own and to wait and see. A few days later as I was leaving work, I turned my car on, put it in reverse and realized I had no propulsion or power steering. I put the car back in park and restarted it and drove it straight to the dealer where it sat for about three weeks as they tried…
