When my car is in cruise control it sometimes applies the brake when the car in front of me is taking an off ramp. Even when car is out of my lane the car might aggressively apply the brakes. Sometimes applies the brakes because a car in front of me changes lanes. It only does it if they go to a lane that is right of my car. I do not tailgate so I feel that this is dangerous as I drive on I-95 and the speed limit is 70 mph. This is a 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport. Honda must correct this.

While driving down the interstate, I had automatic cruise control set at around 70-73 mph, there were few cars on the road and none in front of me. It was dark outside, and one a particular spot, road seemed to have a slight/gradual dip, while going thru this section, vehicle’s emergency braking started flashing and signaling to brake. There was no one in front of me, and it seems as if sensor malfunctioned/received a false positive indication. Luckily, there was no one behind me and I was able to take control of Car and speed it back up

When the car failed, we were given a final Power System warning. The vehicle could start and drive but the driver wheel required all strength to turn. Taking the vehicle to a Honda Dealership they said the problem was a rack and pinion with an estimate of +$5,300 (not including taxes). Steering wheel issue: I had a similar issue with my old 22 Civic. Now it's a known and common problem, it's hard to make small adjustments. It may not be related to the speed or the use of LKAS. There is no warning on the dashboard. Brake pedal: Randomly I feel friction on the pedal when I press it. Like the steering wheel issue it starts to happen and disappears. No warning messages. LKAS giving false warnings, especially when going backwards.

Power system problem light started coming on soon after we bought the car new. It has been towed to Barber Honda in Bakersfield many times- it dies, won’t start. It is on the 3rd battery within 1st year. The last incident was 10/23/23 the car suddenly lost all power in an area of mountains- I was stranded without cell phone service, it was dangerous. Finally had it towed again- this time they replaced the fuel pump. We have had a lawyer since 4/4/23 and Honda has refused to do anything to about this car! I am scared to drive it.

I was parking in our apartment's parking lot when I attempted a left turn to pull in front-facing toward the wall. Within seconds, and without understanding how or why, the car continued forward and hit the wall. Initially, I reported to the insurance company that I either didn’t brake or found the brake too late. However, the truth is, I do not clearly remember what happened. My mph had to be low. When the car hit the wall, several emergency systems were triggered: an automatic emergency call was made, collision alerts sounded, and the brake…

The contact owns a 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid. The contact stated that the trunk was not designed with a safety barrier at the entry, causing a propane tank to roll out of the vehicle upon opening the trunk. The propane tank hit the ground, bounced and hit the contact's chin. The contact sustained temporary pain. The dealer was notified of the issue and informed the contact that it was a factory design flaw. The dealer advised the contact to purchase a trunk storage net to resolve the issue. My 2024 Honda CRV Sport Touring Hybrid AWD has the very same engine and parts as the Canadian model. So far the Canadian version with the exact same equipment as well as the U.S. version has a poorly designed HEAD GASKET that have resulted in NUMEROUS engine failures with no warning. In CANADA the engines have been recalled for this safety concern and resulting catastrophic engine failure. My complaint is that since there are many drivers in the U.S. that have the EXACT same engine with the EXACT same problem deserve the SAME recall to cor…

2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid with approximately 91,000 miles. Vehicle is less than two years old, has received all required maintenance and mileage is predominantly highway driving. I experienced intermittent chugging/rough engine operation, particularly when the gasoline engine engaged at light throttle. There was no check-engine light. The vehicle subsequently displayed: “POWER REDUCED - Shutter grille system problem. Power may be reduced. See your dealer.” I brought the vehicle to an authorized Honda dealer. According to the technician's written…

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

My car has two recalls, including EPS recall #24V-744, which I’ve been informed won’t be completed until February 2026. However, my recall letter from Honda states that repairs should be completed within **60 days** of contacting the dealership (February 25, 2025). This delay is far beyond a reasonable timeframe, especially since the recall involves a potential safety issue. I’m concerned about the risk of driving my vehicle for an extended period without the necessary repairs and need clarification on how this situation will be addressed.

Fuel Injectors failed on all 4 cylinders. They replaced them, still having issue. Blown head gasket was what they diagnosed next and repaired. Picked up vehicle, when driving it down the interstate (70 mph speed limit) the check engine light started flashing. An error came up indicating a Critical Failure. Vehicle stopped accelerating and would not move, luckily I was able to coast to the emergency lane. American Honda states they want to replace the cylinder head now.
