Car stalled twice on highway going 55 miles to zero.pressing accelaerator wont make any difference. Thw malfunction infmdicator starts blinking when it happanes. Once the car comes to a complete stop and restart the engine then only we can continue to drive. Also malfunction infdcator goes away after restarting. We brought the car dealer and since there is no diagnostic code they wouldnt repair.

In the past 4 months car stalled on expressway 3 times. on the first occurrence dealer informed us that no error code were found. Second time repair shop (dealer) found body control module error code and replaced the body control module. On the third occurrence we are waiting for repair assessment. In all three occasions check engine light will blink and pressing accelerator won't give any power to the vehicle. Restarting the engine usually will allow us to drive normally. But in the third occurrence restarting didn't resolve the issue.

I LEASED A BRAND NEW CR-V AND 12 HOURS AFTER I LEFT THE DEALERSHIP IT MALFUNCTIONED. WHILE DRIVING 7 MPH IN MY APARTMENT COMPLEX MY BRAKES AND STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP CAUSING ME TO BUMP INTO A CONCRETE SIDEWALK BARRIER. MY COMPUTER SYSTEM ALERTED ME TO SYSTEM FAILURES FOR POWER STEERING, BRAKING, AWD, ETC. THE ONLY DAMAGE WAS SCUFFED UP TIRES AND HUBCAPS. AFTER HAVING IT TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP THEY SAID I WRECKED THE VEHICLE AND THERE WAS NO MALFUNCTION. THEY ALSO SAID THE WHEEL ROD WAS BENT TO A 90 DEGREE ANGLE. I FIND IT VERY CONCERNING THA…

Vehicle is 3,000 miles outside of warranty, and showed no signs of issues. Starting the car, the driver wheel was locked and all systems complaint of failure. The vehicle could start and drive but the driver wheel required all strength to turn. Taking the vehicle to a Honda Dealership they said the problem was a rack and pinion with an estimate of +$5,300 (not including taxes). This seems to be an abnormal type of repair so close out of warranty.

Steering wheel issue: I had a similar issue with my old 22 Civic. Now it's a known and common problem, it's hard to make small adjustments. It may not be related to the speed or the use of LKAS. There is no warning on the dashboard. Brake pedal: Randomly I feel friction on the pedal when I press it. Like the steering wheel issue it starts to happen and disappears. No warning messages. Power system problem light started coming on soon after we bought the car new. It has been towed to Barber Honda in Bakersfield many times- it dies, won’t start. It is on the 3rd battery within 1st year. The last incident was 10/23/23 the car suddenly lost all power in an area of mountains- I was stranded without cell phone service, it was dangerous. Finally had it towed again- this time they replaced the fuel pump. We have had a lawyer since 4/4/23 and Honda has refused to do anything to about this car! I am scared to drive it.

Yesterday, temporarily, the car would not move when placed in gear. It was parked in our car port. Everything seemed to be normal until the car was placed in reverse (R). Pressure on the gas pedal produced no response. Putting the car in drive (D) also produced no response. Car was parked on flat ground, and I turned on the car and put it into reverse. The reverse sound started and the reverse camera displayed on the screen as normal, but when I pressed the accelerator, the car drove forward instead of back. I put the car in park then back to Reverse, but the same thing happened. I turned the car off, then started again, and after that it reversed normally again.

LKAS giving false warnings, especially when going backwards.

There was no crash, but it is the second time within a month the vehicle stalls on the highway. The engine keeps running gives a loud banging sound. Also, the hybrid batteries are drained quickly to 0. The first-time the car started work again as normal after 1/2-1 hour standing on the side of the highway. The second time we turned the vehicle off/on, and it started to work again. In both cases the 'check engine' light came on. Twice the dealer ship inspected the car but could find anything wrong with it. We know there is a recall on the model …

This is a complaint about the unresolved recall that I have been put on a waitlist for many months now. The Dealership said that Honda will mail me when the parts will be ready for repaired, but it’s been many months since the NHTSA saying the remedy is available. My appointment with the dealership had been canceled the last minute by my dealership after a promise of a mailing notice, but time has flew long enough. I am afraid for my safety on the road as my new vehicle is completely within the range of damage for the unresolved remedy.

Within the past 3 months, twice now, the battery indicator goes to zero and engine loses power and you can't accelerate. This is very dangerous where we live as it is a 2 lane mountain highway with few spots to safely pull over. There are a number of posts about this know issue, all stating the same scenario and that no Honda dealerships will fix it as they "can't determine an issue". I called our dealer after this happened the first time and was instructed to not restart the vehicle and just have it towed in. That is not realistic.

I am reporting a systemic safety fraud involving three critical points:1. INHERENT DEFECT & CRASH LINK: This vehicle has a pathological history of 6 transmission fluid changes starting from 308 miles and multiple alignment failures. There is strong suspicion of inherent defects in both the POWERTRAIN and REAR DRIVETRAIN/STEERING systems. These defects likely contributed to the previous owner's 5-side collision in May 2022. The record suggests a "Sudden Loss of Motive Power" and "Control Instability" risk existed from day one.2. RECALL MALPRACTI…

My car has two recalls, including EPS recall #24V-744, which I’ve been informed won’t be completed until February 2026. However, my recall letter from Honda states that repairs should be completed within **60 days** of contacting the dealership (February 25, 2025). This delay is far beyond a reasonable timeframe, especially since the recall involves a potential safety issue. I’m concerned about the risk of driving my vehicle for an extended period without the necessary repairs and need clarification on how this situation will be addressed.

WHILE DRIVING ON THE I70 TO GO SKIING WITH 3 PASSENGERS, DURING PORTIONS OF THE ROAD WITH STEEP GRADES, THE CAR WAS UNABLE TO GO THE SPEED LIMIT. DESPITE APPLYING 95 TO 100% POWER, CARS WERE PASSING. THIS IS A NEW CAR AND IS CLEARLY A DESIGN FLAW - AS A HYBRID ONCE THE ASSISTIVE BATTERIES ARE DEPLETED, IT IS ONLY RUNNING ON THE ENGINE - AT ALTITUDE THE ENGINE IS STARVED FOR OXYGEN AND DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH POWER. THIS IS EXTREMELY STRESSFUL ON THE DRIVER AND UNSAFE WHILE IN THE MOUNTAINOUS TERRAIN.

While driving in the freeway at 65mph, car starts to loose power, the accelerator does not respond to the push of the pedal. Even if I press the gas, the car just shows in the dashboard that the car is receiving power but speed lingers in 50mph but it clearly is way below this speed and keeps decreasing even if it shows the 50mph, the car just cruises with it’s own momentum. The hybrid battery depletes completely and warning lights start flashing to check engine. The car will also jerk front to back and the main motor will make a loud noise as …

My 2022 Honda CR-V Hybrid began displaying multiple warning messages around February 2025: “Transmission System Problem,” “Blind Spot Info System Problem,” and “Emission System Problem.” The issue was eventually traced to incorrect transmission fluid used from the time of purchase. A diagnostic report confirmed widespread internal transmission damage (e.g., shift solenoids stuck, low fluid pressure, excessive clutch slippage). As the transmission failed, it overwhelmed the vehicle’s main computer (PCM), causing a breakdown in the F-CAN network …

I own a 2021 Honda CR-V Touring hybrid and have had 2 incidents of what I have learned is called sudden unintentional acceleration (SUA). I bought the car new and took possession of it in the spring of 2021. The first incident occurred Nov 14, 2023 when I was parking at a restaurant. I was slowly pulling forward into a parking spot where there were unattended cars on either side of me as well as in front of me. Suddenly, without warning, I was surging with full force into the minivan parked ahead of me as well as the front end of the car par…
