Brand new motorcycle. Transmission is shifting hard and lots of whining and whirling noise coming from the engine block/Transmission/clutch. It's definitely a flawed design
I have 100 miles on my 2022 Honda Grom motorcycle. At around 50 miles it began making a noise it in 4th and 5th gear. I am worried that the noise in those gears may be causing other issues to my gearbox which can put me in danger. Neutral is hard to find and it sometimes slips into a false neutral that shows as “- -“. Once I was downshifting from 4rd to 3rd and it fell into the false neutral leaving me in a dangerous spot where I could not accelerate. I have contacted Honda but not heard back and I am going to see my dealer next Thursday to…
The contact owns a 2015 Honda Grom125 Motorcycle. The contact stated while riding approximately 50 MPH, the motorcycle stalled. The contact stated that the motorcycle was restarted while coasting. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the failure became a recurring failure and that the motorcycle would not restart as needed. The contact had the motorcycle towed to his residence. The contact had not taken the motorcycle to a local dealer or independent mechanic. The motorcycle had not been diagnosed or repa…
I bought My 2023 Honda Grom at my local dealership on February 9th 2023 , brand new 0 miles. Around the 400 mile mark I noticed a "whining" sound after a long period of driving in 5th and in 4th gear. If you engine brake and down shift to 3rd or 2nd gear the noise goes away immediately. It only happens on occasion it doesn't do it all the time. I did purchase the 5 year warranty on motor and transmission. I did my oil changed at 600 miles with all OEM Honda parts and Fluids. The noise is still the same at 1000 miles. On May 10th 2023 I took …
