I bought my 2024 Honda Pilot two weeks ago, it only has 300 miles and suddenly all the warnings indicating system failures were activated, engine check, lane assist, emergency braking, emission system, etc., it almost didn't start, it left me in road. It is not possible that something practically new is failing like that with two weeks of use and only 300 miles, that is not right, it is putting lives in danger. honda has to solve that

Today, while I was driving, the vehicle information display suddenly started flashing warnings indicating that the following systems were experiencing errors, leading to potentially reduced brake performance. I was advised to take the car to the dealer for diagnosis and immediate remediation: Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) Hill Start Assist Lane Departure and Correction Assist Brake Hold System However, when we stopped and attempted to turn off the car in the usual manner, it wouldn't shut down. It took two attempts to finally turn off the car…

Today, the same problem with my car reemerged immediately after I collected it from the dealership, where it was supposedly repaired for this issue. Upon driving away, making three stops, and using both the Brake Hold and Engine Idle-Stop features, I encountered the same malfunction, leading to the flashing of all warning indicators. Alarmingly, the parking brake engaged on its own at traffic signals, and the car wouldn't turn off even when this issue was occurring. The vehicle started having issues initializing the auto-ignition system. It would give various notification, like system warming up when it wasn’t cold, or system disabled for some reason. Then it started shifting to park when stopped at light. Then it stalled multiple times when the AIS would initialize. Dealer said it was bad battery and swapped it. The auto idle stop caused my Pilot to not restart as I was taking my foot off the brake turning left on a busy road. I had to be towed as my car would not start. The Honda repair center said there is an Engineering Request ([XXX]) trying to gather information about the issue, but no fix other than having to turn off the feature every time I restart the car. I am now extremely concerned about my safety and others because if I forget to turn off this feature, my car could unexpectedly now stop working and I could immediately be put in an unsa…

The vehicle is extremely slow to accelerate at low speeds under 20mph. There have been several near accidents due to the lack of acceleration. The recall for the fuel injector was addressed and ECM per manufacture but hasn’t solved the problem. This is dangerous for any acceleration that can cause you to get hit.

I leased a brand new 2022 Honda Pilot and after two weeks of leasing it developed a severe leaking problem with the transmission. The pilot was taken to a local dealer, the local dealer refused service. It was then taken to the original dealer, and the original dealer replaced the transmission. There was some sort of metallurgical fault or defect with the transmission casing, necessitating replacement of the entire transmission. The vehicle had less than 500 miles when this happened.

I believe that there is a safety issue with the design of the adaptive cruise control on the 2024 Honda Pilot. The vehicle applies the brakes at about 1 mph over the selected speed. It is especially aggressive when topping a hill. The gas lets up, but due to the vehicle inertia, the car slightly accelerates, then braking. I believe that this action is unsafe for several reasons. It slows the vehicle several mph below the set speed causing cars behind me to swerve or come close to me. No human driver would apply the brakes in that situation…

My Pilot has less than 1300 miles on it and when in lower gears the transmission will rev high, hesitate, then jerk forward, at times feeling as though it’s losing power before the gear catches. Called the dealership who told me it’s normal and without any warning lights on they won’t find anything.

The vehicle was purchased brand new on Feb 1st 2024. While driving on the highway on Feb 5th 2024, with only 105 miles on the odometer, and no prior warning messages/lights, many warning messages were suddenly displayed on the dashboard, repeating one after the other, instructing that various safety features were disabled, displaying: "Parking brake not available", "Brake system problem", "Brake performance may be reduced", "Brake hold system problem", "Anti-lock brake system problem", "Vehicle stability assist system problem", "Reduced tractio…

On three occasions, my car has not started as expected. Twice I was at busy intersections at a stop, and when I started to go, the car shut off and would not allow me to restart the engine. The third time I had not been driving and was in a parking lot, trying to start the car to leave and it also would not start. When this happens, the brake locks, the steering locks, but the lights are still on around the center console. The start stop button goes black and refuses to work on all three occasions. I have had to wait and try again and try again…

Driving away from dealer after service approached a stop light and came to a stop. The vehicle stalled again and went completely dead. No electrical at all. Stranded at intersection. Vehicle has…

While driving our 2024 Honda Pilot Touring, I came to a full stop at a red light. When the light turned green and I attempted to accelerate, the vehicle completely shut off without warning. There was no sputtering, no warning lights, and no error messages. The engine shut off instantly, and all systems, including both screens, air conditioning, horn, and hazard lights, were completely unresponsive. The vehicle was entirely disabled. It remained unresponsive for 5–10 minutes before showing any sign of power. It took four attempts to restart the v…

This 10 speed transmission is dangerous. It hesitates and jerks constantly. Both up and down shifts will hesitate or drop into gears. While at speeds under 50mph the car will lurch and rock back and forth with some shifts. I'm current on all recalls. Only 23,000 miles. I've taken it in to Honda and did a ride along with the tech and he felt it too, but until there is a check engine light, theres nothing they can do to help me. This is a wide spread issue among owners when you search forums. Please look into this issue and push Honda to release …

Incident Description: While traveling at 45 mph with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) active, the vehicle experienced a "phantom braking" event triggered by high-contrast shadows on the roadway. The Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) incorrectly identified a shadow as a physical obstacle and abruptly applied the brakes in a clear path of travel. I was forced to manually override the system by applying the accelerator to prevent a potential rear-end collision. Safety Risk & Technical Context: This defect is repeatable under specific lighti…

The vehicle's Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) is triggering 'phantom braking' at 50mph when there are no vehicles or hazards ahead. This occurs consistently on roads with dark asphalt patches/crack sealant. The braking is severe enough to cause a potential rear-end collision. I have reported this to Honda Corporate (Case #16338446) and have an appointment with a dealer, but the issue persists and is a major safety risk for my family.
