The wireless charging pad does not work, no matter what position the phone is. I have tried with the case off, so that's not the issue. And I've also tried multiple phones. It pretends to power on and start charging but then it stops in less than a minute, even WITHOUT driving the car....so the phone has no chance to move.

I purchased a 2025 Honda Ridgeline and noticed that the turn signal is hardly audible. If you have the radio on or the windows rolled down, you will not hear the warning tone. In the infotainment system there is an adjustment that allows you to raise the volume of the warning indicator and even at the highest volume you can barely hear it. I also found that I am not alone and that this ia a common problem with some Honda models. Every other car I have ever owned made a mechanical or audio tone to warn that the signal light is active. When the vehicle is in drive, stopped on a steep hill, and allowed to slip backward the software puts the transmission in neutral and shuts of the engine off. This leaves the vehicle coasting backwards with very little steering or brakes. This happened to me and I coasted backward across a street before I could get it stopped. If a car had been coming it would have hit me sideways. I can reproduce this in drive forward or in reverse, and I reproduced this in a second 2021 Ridge Line truck. There is no warning or message.

Other scenarios where too many buttons needed to change settings. Too much interaction for a driver to…

Corrosion formed on the rear frame and a recall was issued for Honda Ridgelines. The Checkered Flag Honda dealership tested our Ridgeline, and it failed the punch test regarding corrosion. The fuel tank, which is mounted to the rear frame, can become unsecured as the rear frame deteriorates from corrosion. An unsecured fuel tank could have a fuel leak and an increased risk of fire. TOOK TRUCK TO HONDA DEALER FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE AND ASKED THEM TO CHECK REAR DRIVER'S SIDE BRAKE BECAUSE IT WAS MAKING A NOISE AND SEEMED TO BE GRIPPING AFTER I WOULD RELEASE THE BRAKE PEDAL. THEY TOLD ME I NEED NEW BRAKE PADS AND NEW ROTORS. THEY TOLD ME THE BRAKE PADS ARE METAL AGAINST METAL, THERE'S TOO MUCH RUST ON ROTORS. THEY WANT $554 FOR THE FRONT, $544 FOR THE REAR. I ASKED IF THIS WASN'T PREMATURE FOR SUCH A WORN BRAKE. I DRIVE THE HONDA 3 TIMES A WEEK ON AVERAGE, MORESO IN THE WINTER MONTHS, AND MY DRIVING HAS BEEN MOSTLY HIG…

BRAKE PEDAL HAS SOFT FEEL AND REQUIRES MULTIPLE PUMPS TO BUILD UP PRESSURE. HAVE HAD BRAKES BLED MULTIPLE TIMES AND HAD MASTER CYLINDER REPLACED. AFTER SERVICE BRAKES SEEM FINE FOR A FEW DAYS/WEEKS BUT EVENTUALLY RETURN TO SOFT STATE. SUDDEN STOPPING SITUATIONS OR STOPPING ON SLIPPERY SURFACES WILL CAUSE PEDAL TO GO IMMEDIATELY TO FLOOR AND ANTI-LOCK SYSTEM TO ENGAGE. SOMETIMES ANTILOCK BRAKES WILL ENGAGE EVEN IF NOT ON SLIPPERY OR LOOSE SURFACE. *TR

2006 HONDA RIDGELINE WITH 140,000 MILES. ALL SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE PERFORMED. DRIVING HOME ON 9/18/13 ON HIGHWAY, CRUISE CONTROL SET TO 65 MPH, CAR BEGAN TO LURCH FORWARD A FEW TIMES. GOT OFF AT NEXT EXIT AND REVS BEGAN TO RISE AS IF IN NEUTRAL. STOPPED IMMEDIATELY AND CALLED FOR TOW TRUCK. NOTICED TEMP METER WAS HIGH, BUT WENT BACK DOWN TO NORMAL WITHIN 15 MINUTES. "STRAWBERRY MILK SHAKE" TYPE LIQUID THEN POURED ONTO PAVEMENT. TRUCK TOWED TO INDEPENDENT SERVICE STATION. THE STATION CONCLUDED THAT THERE WAS A FAILURE OF THE TRANSMISSION…

WHEN I BOUGHT THE HONDA RIDGELINE I FOUND THE TRANSMISSION LINE AN COOLANT LINE BROKE INSIDE RADIATOR CAUSING ISSUES AND HAVING TO REPLACE LINES AN RADIATOR ALONG WITH TRANNY FLUSH. NOW THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS HARD INTO FOURTH SHAKING THE TRUCK EVERY TIME TOUCHING THE GAS AROUND 60MPH AND SOMETIMES NORMAL CITY DRIVING. ALDO THE BRAKES ARE SOFT AND SPONGY AND HAS TO BE PUT ALMOST TO THE FLOOR TO START STOPPING. I LIKE HUNDREDS OF OTHER RIDGELINE OWNERS DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY HONDA DOESN'T FIX THESE ISSUES THAT BASICALLY ALL RIDGELINES HAVE. AL…

THERE IS A DESIGN FLAW IN THE WASHER USED AT THE TRANSMISSION FLUID JUNCTIONS IN THE RADIATOR. THE FITTINGS AND WASHER ARE MADE OF DISSIMILAR METALS. AS A RESULT, THE STEEL WASHER USED AS A SPACER RUSTS AND CORRODES, THEN SWELLS AND FORCIBLY PULLS THE THREADS FROM THEIR FITTINGS. A CATASTROPHIC LOSS OF FLUIDS INCLUDING AN EXCHANGE OF TRANSMISSION FLUID AND ENGINE COOLANT TAKE PLACE, RENDERING THE VEHICLE NOT ONLY INOPERABLE BUT ALSO PERHAPS SIGNIFICANTLY DAMAGED. THESE FITTINGS FAIL AT RANDOM WITH NO OBVIOUS PATTERN OR ENVIRONMENTAL CAUSE. …

When my dealership inspected my rear frame for corrosion related to warranty 22V-430, they noted that the rear frame corrosion was so severe that the rear passenger wheel was no longer secured to the rear frame, resulting in a severe safety risk. However, warranty 22V-430 relates to corrosion of the rear frame resulting in an unsecured fuel tank which may result in a fuel leak and an increased risk of fire. The dealership and the district Honda representative agreed that the frame was severely corroded and presented a severe safety risk, but th…

My vehicle was recalled because corrosion can form on the rear frame due to accumulation of road de-icing agents mixed with mud and dirt. The fuel tank, which is mounted to the rear frame, can become unsecured as the rear frame deteriorates from corrosion. An unsecured fuel tank may result in a fuel leak and an increased risk of fire in the presence of an ignition source. Loud noises from the rear of the vehicle can alert you in the event the fuel tank becomes unsecured. I called to make an appointment for the recall on [XXX] and it was dro…

ENGINE DEVELOPED A SUDDEN MISFIRE IN #4 CYLINDER FOR ABOUT 20 SECONDS, THEN CLEARED. SUBSEQUENTLY, HAD LARGE WHITE CLOUDS OF COOLANT AND BURNED OIL COMING FROM TAILPIPE WHILE DRIVING ON CITY STREETS. AFTER TURNING ENGINE OFF AND LETTING IT COOL, NOTICED COOLANT LEVEL LOW IN RESERVOIR, LOW OIL LEVEL ON DIPSTICK. LOW COMPRESSION ON #4 CYL. AND BURNED OIL ON #4 SPARK PLUG. IF ALLOWED TO CONTINUE RUNNING, COOLANT WOULD BE CONSUMED, RESULTING IN OVERHEATING AND ENGINE SEIZING WHILE DRIVING.

IN DECEMBER 2016 I BEGAN TO NOTICE BILLOWING CLOUDS OF BLUE SMOKE FROM MY EXHAUST PIPE ON STARTUP. ON WATCHING THE PROBLEM FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS I NOTICED THAT IT HAPPENED INTERMITTENTLY, USUALLY (BUT NOT ALWAYS) WHEN THE ENGINE WAS COLD.
