Owner report 11562337 · 2023-12-28 (December 28, 2023)

I like how tesla has created an audible and visual clue to know when the Assistive functions enable, engage and they disengage. With this hyundai, there is a steering Icon, that lights up in the instrument cluster, that we should search to confirm its engaged, and then when it disengages, it just disappears without any warining or notification that the driver is in control.

Owner report 11593943 · 2024-06-12 (June 12, 2024)

At slower speeds, while braking or coming to a stop, if a bump or uneven surface in the road is encountered the car will violently shake. The steering wheel will shake left and right and braking action is lost. This can lead to dangerous situations at intersections or amongst other traffic as stopping distance will drastically increase unexpectedly. Based on previous reports this is likely caused by the ABS engaging at inappropriate times or performing in an inappropriate manner.

Owner report 11541372 · 2023-08-29 (August 29, 2023)

The transmission failed at under 800 miles on this new vehicle. Each gear shift in the transmission was substantially extended and the vehicle would jerk when sitting into gear. You could hear/feel the engine revving while only accelerating slightly. When entering the highway, the vehicle's extended shift caused a very slow and delayed acceleration, requiring other drivers to change lanes or rapidly slow down to avoid a collision. The Hyundai dealer confirmed the transmission issue, and submitted a warranty claim to Hyundai which was approve…

Owner report 11563413 · 2024-01-03 (January 3, 2024)

Each time the vehicle is driven the transmission will slip out of gear when trying to shift and send the engine rpm into a rev. During this vehicle stops accelerating and feels as if it is completely in neutral. Finally the transmission will slam into gear jostling the occupants. This happens when the engine attempts to shift around 15,20,25 and 40 mph. Once the transmission slipped out of gear on a shift, lost acceleration, and then slammed to a halt as if shifting into park. The vehicle was moving at 15 mph when this occurred and the vehicl…

THE SEATBELT BUCKLES FOR THE CAPTAINS CHAIRS ARE RECESSED INTO THE BODY OF THE SEAT. THIS MAKES IT EXTREMELY DIFFICULT FOR BOTH ADULTS AND CHILDREN TO BUCKLE UP. THE BUCKLES ARE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO USE WITH BOOSTER CHAIRS WHITEOUT SOME AFTER MARKET MODIFICATION (NOT SAFE).*DT Consumer stated buckles are recessed into the seat bottom and latch is angled inwards towards the seat making it even trickier to get to. The angles isn't helping with latching. Silicone and foam building block is used to hold buckle in place.

Our vehicle has captain seats in the middle row. The seat buckles are so far recessed it's ALWAYS difficult to buckle, especially when using car seats or boosters. Our children, nearly 9 and 7 years old who had no difficulties buckling before, are unable to buckle themselves with their boosters now. Additionally, and even more concerning, is that the seat belt will "click" as if it's been buckled but come unbuckled partially through the drive. The seat belt for the driver seat spontaneously unbuckles while the car is in motion. After fastening the buckle, the buckle disengages while driving, with no warning or provocation. I am the owner of a 2026 Hyundai Palisade, purchased new less than 60 days ago. I purchased this vehicle on 9/17 and since day 1 the infotainment system will not turn on when starting the car. It has a digital instrument display and infotainment which control 90% of the vehicle functions. I have opened a case with Hyundai # 20328505 who took 2 weeks t call me and had no resolution other than to let the dealer handle it. I have been to the dealer 3 times now and they can't figure out what the issue is. This is a major safety issue if I can't tell how fast I'm going and or the safety functions don't work.

This happens more than once in a daily basis because of the area I live in. It was a sunny day with no water around and I was pulling up to a signal and decide to put brakes on and the car didn’t break right away, instead the car slide for at least 10 ft before it came to a stop. This incident wasn’t the first one and has happened in exact same manner at least 3 times. All the times it has scared the driver as the driver doesn’t know if the brake feature works and when this happens the vehicle drags several feet before coming to a stop.

Component/System: Engine , specifically the engine valve springs and related components. Description of what happened: While driving, the vehicle began to shake violently, and the check engine light came on. At times, the vehicle loses power and shuts off completely, then restarts and drives normally for a short period before the issue returns. It feels and sounds like the engine is about to fall out. These symptoms match the description in Hyundai Safety Recall 255 for the 2024 Palisade (fractured engine valve springs that can cause engine fa…

I have owned the 2024 Hyundai Palisade for 11 months. On average, I experience at least twice a month an issue with the braking system when coming to a stop. It appears mainly associated with uneven road or where loose gravel or asphalt maybe on the roadway. The vehicle's frontend vibrates and the brakes do not grab and hold. I have to release the brake pedal and then reapply the brakes, all the while my vehicle is continuing moving forward. Today, I was coming up to a stop light and almost went into cross traffic.

I was driving in a shopping center parking lot and approaching a stop sign. As I was breaking and approaching the sign, I had to drive over a series of small potholes. As I went over the potholes, it seems the cars ABS system was engaged, and the car began to shake very dramatically, creating a more dangerous situation than needed to be. It seems others have had this problem as well, as I found online forums describing similar experiences driving over small rocks and bumps. While braking at a stop, and encountering a pothole (has occurred even without a pothole on straight surfaces), it feels like the is ABS kicking in to avoid wheel lockup, and apparent slowing which rapidly mimics activities that could cause hard braking. Similar to when the car is on ice/snow and the car pulses to stop. Unsafe, as the vehicle does not top when intended and forces the vehicle to take longer to stop with the potential to involuntarily enter an intersection. I have had this occur multiple times. When driving at low speeds over bumpy roads or obstacles like train tracks, seems like the ABS activates and the brake pedal turns very hard to press and the car wouldn't brake unless pushed very hard as the car keeps moving forward, not stopping. It's happened at least 4 times in 2 months. Braking capacity diminishes by 90% in those few seconds and if you don't know how to act and press the brake as hard as you can, the car won't stop.

While braking, hitting a bump causes the ABS to engage and disengage repeatedly causing a violent shaking in the brake pedal and steering wheel. The brake pedal goes soft and the issue was only stopped by pushing the brake pedal to the floor with extra force.
