Vehicle is 4 months old and has 2300 miles on it. Randomly and suddenly the vehicle will lose power while in traffic. No steering or engine power. It will abruptly coast to a stop, put itself into park, and stall. Several lights will come on. All the lights but the check engine lights disappear after letting the car sit. The car sometimes turns over only to stall a few seconds later. If left to sit for 30 minutes or so, it will drive again. Obviously a car that shuts off and loses power while driving is a big safety issue. I am unsure if …

Driving approximately 30 miles/hour (estimated) the car started the process of shutting down and then shut down - while moving. The lights flickered on the dash board but don't recall exactly what the indicators were. We were able to pull over to the side of the road, although not entirely off of the road. It was 11:00 PM. This is a safety issue because my family was in the car while it was moving and shut down while moving. Leaks break fluid when parked at an angle (nose facing down hill). Heat seems to be a factor because it leaks more on hot days. The dealer has tried to remedy the problem no fewer than 4 times, replacing many major components. There appears to be a design flaw in the master cylinder area as that is where the brake fluid keeps leaking from. I have to imagine if you keep losing break fluid it is a safety issue and an environmental one.

2022 Wagoneer Series III has major alignment issues and ruining tires with the outside tire edges cupping/wearing bald due to the alignment kicking out within an hour of being aligned and driven at highway speeds. Vehicle also has a death wobble when going over 65 mph and pulls hard to the right almost causing the vehicle to go off the road or into another lane if you are not bare knuckling the steering wheel to the left to counteract the hard right pulling. Vehicle has been in and out of the Dealership since 12/2024 to address the problem, how…

While my wife was operating our 2022 Jeep Wagoneer Series III (5.7L HEMI eTorque, ~44,700 miles) at highway speed, the vehicle suffered a sudden and complete electrical power failure. Electric power steering cut out completely while the vehicle was in motion, creating an immediate safety hazard and nearly causing an accident. The vehicle was disabled and required towing. The dealership (Safford Jeep) diagnosed fault code P0B32: catastrophic internal hardware and voltage failure of the 48-volt eTorque Hybrid Battery Pack. The 12-volt battery wa…

While driving down the freeway at 70mph the sunscreen had a spontaneous sunroof explosion on the freeway. As it flew off the vehicle it damaged the top of the body with deep gouges along to of the vehicle. We had the sunscreen closed over us at the time or my infant daughter would have been seriously hurt by the explosion of glass and the driver and passenger at the time would have had glass raining from them. There was no one in front of us when this occurred and happened with no warning or any visible damage prior to the incident.

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

The lights flickered on the dash board but don't recall exactly what the indicators were. We were able to pull over to the side of the road, although not entirely off of the road. It was 11:00 PM. This is a safety issue because my family was in the car while it was moving and shut down while moving. on March 23, 2024, the 2022 Jeep Wagoneer Series 3 turned off while at a stop light. We were at a red light and completely stopped and the engine turned off on us. We had the vehicle in for a routine oil change, and afterwards the vehicle battery died 3 times before the dealership replaced the battery. We are unsure if the dead battery is related to the engine turning off on the March 23 incident. I am unsure if there were any warning. We are also getting a error message that says "Uconnect Box requires service. Please visit an authorized…

Today 30JUN2022 my wife had a forward collision. She T-boned a Hyundai Sonata on the passenger door the Hyundai’s side airbags deployed and the jaws of life had to be used to get the passenger door open. My wife’s speed was about 5-10 MPH it was in a parking lot. None of the safety features activated. There was no FCW, no visual or audio warnings, no brake jerking or braking at all. The front collision sensors failed, which may have assisted in preventing this accident. My vehicle is at a collision center waiting for an estimate to get …

The electrical system was to blame in draining the battery dealer said. dashboard lit up and shut on and off. The dealership ‘repaired’ with new battery. Other various issues with seats and electrical malfunctions have taken place both before/after that. But last night, about 20-30 minutes into a drive, the check engine and battery lights came on. A couple mins later, t…

Concerns: Electrical is slow to respond the screen. The turn knob is a HUGE safety concern. The turn know sometime doesn’t not click or stay in park. The vehicle will lunge. The knob is easy hot accidentally hit and move out of the gear causing the auto brake to jerk the car to a stop. The getting the brake release to get car back in gear is slow to unlock. Sometimes I have to turn the car completely off. Turn it back on then do the break release and start all over. The auto break has actually stopped in the middle of the road for no reaso…
