Reported: 2015-01-08 (January 8, 2015) · Model years: 2015
Lance Camper Manufacturing Corp. (Lance) is recalling certain model year 2015 Slide-In Campers and Travel Trailers manufactured August 1, 2014, to October 27, 2014, and equipped with certain Latitude awnings manufactured by Carefree of Colorado. The mounting brackets of the affected awnings may crack, and the awnings may fall.
Consequence: If an awning falls, there is an increased risk of injury to anyone under the awning.
Remedy: Lance will notify owners, and dealers will remove and replace all the mounting brackets, free of charge. The recall began November 26, 2014. Owners may contact Lance customer service at 1-661-949-3322.

Reported: 2015-02-24 (February 24, 2015) · Model years: 2015
Lance Camper Manufacturing Corp. Consequence: The screws could fail, causing the supporting bracket to fail, and the awning to fall and potentially strike and injure a person beneath it.
Remedy: Lance will notify owners, and dealers will remove and replace the defective screws, free of charge. The recall began on February 20, 2015. Owners may contact Lance customer service at 1-661-949-3322.

Emerging complaint spikes
Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.
This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.
No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.
Equal-age model-year comparison
Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
2001: 1 complaints · 2015: 0 complaints

Date coverage across each selected cohort

| 2001 | 1 | 0 | 0 |
| 2015 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
