DRIVING ON THE MAIN HWY WHEN I NOTICED THAT A INDICATED LIGHT APPEARED ON THE DASHBOARD "TRANSMISSION FAULT TRACTION REDUCED". THE CAR DIDN'T HANDLE ANY DIFFERENT SO I IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED THE DEALER VIA PHONE. SPOKE TO THE SERVICE ADVISER WHO STATED TO PULL OFF THE ROAD, TURN OFF THE MOTOR AND AFTER A FEW MINS RESTART IT AND THAT SHOULD CLEAR THE FAULT. IF NOT, JUST MAKE AN APPT FOR SERVICE. UNFORTUNATELY THE PROBLEM WAS NOT CLEARED USING THE ABOVE RESTARTING PROCEDURE. UPON ARRIVING AT THE DEALERSHIP FOR THE NEXT AVAILABLE APPT 5 DAYS LA…

THE CRACKLING SOUND IS IN BOTH DIRECTIONS WHEN YOU TURN THE STEERING. THE SOUND IS AUDIBLE (CAPABLE OF BEING HEARD) WHEN THE CAR IS IN A STATIC POSITION OR AT VERY SLOW SPEED AND THE STEERING IS TURNED IN EITHER DIRECTION. When I reverse in cold outside temperatures there is a very loud squealing noise. When turning wheel slowly left or right there is a loud grinding noise that gets louder when pressing the gas. When I turn the heater on over 2 notches a loud buzzing whistling sound gets louder the higher I turn the heater on. I have taken it to Land Rover and they tell me they couldn’t find anything wrong but there is definitely something wrong.

In about Feb 2017, we purchased this vehicle, a 2012 Range Rover Evoque (5 door), from a GMC dealership; it was previously owned. When purchased, an exhaust smell was noticed inside of the vehicle and the vehicle was returned to the dealership for service and inspection into the cause of the odor. It was ultimately transferred to a Land Rover dealership in Scottsdale, Arizona (Land Rover North Scottsdale 18100 N Scottsdale Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85054) where they determined the turbo charger had a crack in the manifold. It was replaced. About one …

purchased a 2018 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque from Car Choice in Carrollton, Texas in October 2025. Shortly after purchase, I discovered the vehicle was sold in an unsafe and non-roadworthy condition. The vehicle had NO rear brake pads present at the time of sale, creating an immediate and serious safety hazard. In addition, the wheels cannot be removed due to a missing wheel lock key, preventing proper servicing of the braking system. Additional defects include a coolant system leak, windshield washer fluid leak, and an inoperative sunroof.…

2012 Range Rover Evoque suddenly, and without warning died while driving in traffic, and would not restart. It needed to be pushed away from oncoming traffic. A sheriff deputy was summoned to control traffic, as we did this. There were no warning lamps, or messages appearing on the display, both before and after the incident. Currently the car is at a foreign repair facility here in Lexington, KY. The name of the facility is: Scheller Automotive, [phone removed]. I spoke earlier with Andy, who stated it was an issue with no compression, which p…

FOR THE 5TH TIME NOW, WHILE DRIVING NORMALLY ON CITY STREETS (AND ONCE ON THE HIGHWAY), THE CAR STARTS GIVING MULTIPLE FAULT MESSAGES REGARDING SYSTEM FAILURES AND THEN IT GOES INTO LIMP HOME MODE. ONCE, I TURNED IT OFF ON THE SIDE OF THE STREET AND IT LOCKED UP AND WOULD NOT COME BACK ON - IT HAD TO BE TOWED. THE FAULT MESSAGES INCLUDE "GEAR BOX FAILURE" AND "STABILITY CONTROL FAILURE", ABS FAILURE, POWER STEERING FAILURE, AND MORE. ALL FIVE TIMES, THE DEALERSHIP CANNOT FIND THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM. IT IS CURRENTLY AT THE SHOP AGAIN (IT WAS …

Gas leak in the fuel system. Obvious gas smell when car is turned on. Because of the impending danger i have taken the vehicle to á local independent service center for evaluation. They are in the process of confirming the problem. I could not chance driving too far to the dealer because of the hazzard and risk. There were no warning lights indicating the problem.

I am filing this complaint for a serious drivability and safety issue with my 2020 Range Rover Evoque (VIN: [XXX] ). For over two years, this vehicle has exhibited a violent jerking motion when accelerating from a stop. It happens intermittently but is becoming progressively worse. Despite multiple dealership visits, warranty repairs, and part replacements (including the driveshaft and oil separator). Most recently, on [XXX], my wife was nearly involved in a rear-end collision when the vehicle lurched forward at a green light despite gentle p…
