That happened about 3 years ago. Also when I start the car and put it in reverse the parking brake warning light come on, that also started happening a couple years ago. THE 2018 MODEL HAS A SIGNIFICANT THROTTLE DELAY WHEN ACCELERATING THE CAR FROM A STOP, RESULTING IN DELAY IN MOVEMENT AFTER PRESSING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. THIS CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS WHEN TURNING ONTO BUSY ROADS AND WHEN ACCELERATING AT STOP SIGNS, AS IT TAKES 1-2 SECONDS BEFORE THE CAR REGISTERS THAT THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL HAS BEEN DEPRESSED, AND THEN JOLTS FORWARD AT A HIGH SPEED TO "CATCH UP". Basically communication with the gas engine stopped and vehicle died after draining the battery.

Back-up camera malfunctions periodically. They tried to fix it, but it is still happening. When I put it in reverse, it says "cameras not available." It creates a risk for me as I am used to parallel parking using it, or when I am coming out of my garage, among other places and times. It is unpredictable - sometimes it happens several times a day, then it doesn't happen for a few days. There must be a way to fix this for good. It has never happened with several other cars I used for a long time.

TWO LAND ROVER DEALERS (WEST CHESTER PA AND WAYNE PA) HAVE CONFIRMED THAT NUMEROUS CUSTOMERS HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT THIS ISSUE BUT THEY HAVE NOT BEE…

I had my oil changed and mechanic noted both my fuel tank belly pans were heavily corroded, which was odd for a garaged car with lower miles. They recommended reaching out to my dealership since this is a pressing issue that likely should include a recall or warranty. When I researched the issue, it's a known Range Rover Sport design issue, a 2019 should not have this much corrosion and it sounds like condensation pools. Also, the mechanic noted that this likely has been happening for a while. The RI Range Rover dealership inspected my car in…

I took my car in for an oil change, and they noticed a faint fuel smell (Which I had noticed as well). I had them look deeper and the found a small fuel leak, requiring Part LR140080 to repair. This part is worldwide back ordered from Land Rover. When I ordered at the Range Rover dealership they noted 146 people in front of me with no ETA in sight. The representative advised that the car was not safe to drive and they have a car at the dealership that has been waiting since November? Unacceptable. As I was driving my vehicle to my residence, the car lost all power. The engine remained ‘on’, and the engine revved if I pushed the gas pedal, but there was zero acceleration. Fortunately I was able to maneuver/coast to a side street and stop my vehicle safely. I also felt fortunate that no car was following closely behind me which could have created a potential rear-end collision threat. I had very little warning that anything was wrong with the car. Approximately 20 minutes prior to the vehicle losing all power, I was driving to a store and …

I was informed by Hennessey Land Rover that there is a "Y" Alen pipe in the coolant system that will most likely fail around 50,000 to 60,000 miles. The "Y" piece is two pieces of pipe sandwiched together verses one solid piece. They are telling me that once the pipe fails all of the coolant will escape the engine block and will most likely seize the engine. They are not covering the cost to do the repair, around $4500.00, and I find this unacceptable because they build the coolant system with a piece they know is faulty.

My insurance company notified me about Recall Campaign D019, and according to official NHTSA guidelines, where cracks are found, the front suspension knuckle must be replaced immediately at no charge. The dealership's local staff professionally inspected my vehicle and confirmed that the component is actively cracking. However, Land Rover Corporate has failed to provide a timely remedy for this specific recall, leaving me to drive an unsafe vehicle with a fractured suspension while claiming the repair procedure hasn't been released. The gas tank shield on my 2015 Range Rover Sport appears to be severely rusted and corroded\. This shield is designed to support and protect the fuel tank, so significant corrosion could potentially compromise its structural integrity and create a safety concern if it is not repaired or replaced\. Given its important role in supporting and protecting the fuel tank, I believe the condition of this component should be addressed promptly to…

I purchased this car a week ago, and the engine made a loud noise and shut down in the middle of the roadway, almost caused a rear end collision. I pulled to the side of the road and all the oil was running out of the engine. The mechanic said the plastic timing chain in that model is common to fail, and in my case destroyed the engine block, $24,000 to repair a $16,000 car is insane. This is apparently a know issue with this vehicle and nothing is being done about it.

I can be driving and the car will just cut off. The real danger was when I was on the freeway and I almost couldn't pull over to the side and a semi truck was behind me. That happened about 3 years ago. Also when I start the car and put it in reverse the parking brake warning light come on, that also started happening a couple years ago. The above happened again yesterday and the day before, October 9, 2021.

The suspension would not raise back up, and the dashboard displayed suspension warnings. The vehicle lowered itself immediately after the steerin…
