I am submitting a formal complaint regarding my 2022 Lincoln Navigator, VIN [XXX], which I purchased new from a Lincoln dealership in [XXX]. Since purchasing the vehicle, it has experienced multiple significant mechanical, safety, and reliability problems: The transmission required repair, and the vehicle remained at the repair facility for more than one month while the work was completed. The original tires had to be replaced, resulting in an out-of-pocket expense of approximately $1,900. The suspension has not operated properly since we pur…

The dealership has rebalanced the tires that came on the car, installed new tires and road forced balanced, replaced transfer case, rear drive shaft, but different size tires on car, and done another road force balance on the 2nd set of new tires that were put on car. FSE told dealership to give the car back to us and there was noting else they will do even though vibration still remains. While driving at approximately 65-70 mph on a major interstate, the engine experienced a sudden catastrophic failure without warning. This caused an immediate loss of power and power steering/braking assist, making the vehicle extremely difficult to control in high speed traffic. This sudden stall endangered my life and the lives of nearby motorists. A certified mechanic inspected the engine internals (via borescope) and identified that a valve seat had dropped in the #4 cylinder, causing it to impact and destroy the piston. This 'dropped valv…

problem is when you go to check the oil do you think you’re gonna find a low oil situation and what happens is the oil is actually overfilled however it’s not overfilled because you put too much oil in it. It’s overfilled because gasoline is leaking into the oil pan. So the oil is diluted and it actually doesn’t even seem like oil. It seems like dirty gas. That’s how much gas gets into it. I OWN A 1999 LINCOLN NAVIGATOR (FORD ENGINE 5.4L DOHC) ONLY 52000 MILES. THE SPARK PLUG #4 BLOW OUT OF THE ENGINE WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. I'VE SEEN MANY OF THE FORD EXPEDIGION AND LINCOLN NAVIGATOR OWNERS EXPERIENCE THIS SAME ISSUE. THERE IS OBVIOUSLY A DEFAULT WITH THERE ENGINE FOR THESE MODELS AND THUS SHOULD BE RECALLED.*AK

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
