Had this Mazda CX30 as a rental car for about a week. Was pulling into the driveway, hit the brakes, and the vehicle took off full speed causing a crash. The engine was revving at max and the vehicle was accelerating as if the gas pedal was floored. No matter what pedal I hit the car just kept going until the crash and being shut off.

The vehicle has a built in wireless phone charger. When the charger is used for for more than > 10 minutes, the phone proceeds to heat up to the point it burns your hand when you take it off the charger. I have spoken to the dealer and the service advisor says this is “normal” and occurs in a variety of car models. Then he blamed my phone, but my phone does not heat when using any other wireless or plug in charger. I am concerned that the excess heat will result in the battery exploding as we have seen with other phone charger and laptop charge…

The vehicle has major electrical issues. The ABS and all over driver safety options would shut off for days at a time. I had purchased this cx30 as new on January 02, 2026. It totally died and wouldn't start on February 03, 2026. It had to ve towed by mazda roadside assistance to Towne Mazda dealer in Orchard Park NY. It is now March 12, 2026 and the dealer has had my vehicle for over a month. They put a new wiring harness in it ans other components. Very frustrating.

I wondered if, after my first service visit on 11-12-25, the dealership put regular leaded gas instead of premium in it, because there was a noticeable difference in gas mileage and the engine started revving pretty high, in my opinion. It also seemed to have less power (which was my main reason foe thinking the wrong gas had been out in). And since then, it hasn't been the same.

Normal speeds, etc. Warning sensor to engage Brakes activate without sufficient reason. More than enough space between cars, normal speeds. Occasionally, it feels as if cruise control has taken over and slows the car down (not braking exactly, but controlling the speed by decreasing it). I was driving my 2026 Mazda CX-30 in a parking lot and was pulling into a parking space at a very low speed. I lightly pressed the accelerator to move the car forward, but the car suddenly surged forward much faster than I intended or expected based on how lightly I had pressed the pedal. The sudden acceleration resulted in a collision and property damage. There were no warning lights, warning messages, or other dashboard alerts before or at the time of the incident. I do not know what specifically caused the car to accelerate this way. I am …

Manufacturing defect in the windshield glass: distorted/warped windshield glass causing waves/ripples. Result: impaired visibility when operating vehicle and rapid eye fatigue. I took delivery of a 2022 Mazda CX-30 recently, and noticed that the windshield was very distorted. Moving my head caused the image to shift in unexpected ways. The windshield was noticeably wavy and caused double vision. The dealer replaced the windshield, but the replacement is also noticeably wavy, with an almost orange peel look through the new windshield. The new windshield also distorts the active driving display as well, which was not apparent on the original. When I complained about the replacement, the dealer's service manager said tha…

I have no idea why a service visit was even recommended at 1000 miles. Intake rep said for manufacturer oil change and maintenance?! 1000 miles? Bought 11-8-25?! I wondered if, after my first service visit on 11-12-25, the dealership put regular leaded gas instead of premium in it, because there was a noticeable difference in gas mileage and the engine started revving pretty high, in my opinion. Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

On multiple occasions while driving in rain/snow/ice, the vehicle will initially throw an "i-ACTIVESENSE Partially Disabled Due to Camera Malfunction" error. This initially disables adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, blind spot detection, etc. This error immediately then cascades to throw a "Dynamic Stability Control Malfunction" error as well as an "ABS Malfunction" error, suggesting that both dynamic stability control and ABS are disabled. This issue has occurred roughly 50% of the time it rains/snows, and usually persists for 1-2 days ev…

I have noticed over 30 things wrong with this car. Including but not limited to- the FIRST THINGS I mentioned to the dealership there seems to be apull to the right (suspension/alignment). The car randomly starts driving or feeling 'jerky" as if cruise control has taken over - 'phantom braking' is a term I came across that sounds accurate to me. And now, after having the vehicle for almost 30 days- there is significantly less mpg.received. 300 first tank vs about 250 this current tank.
