The contact owns a 2014 Mercedes-Benz G63. The contact stated that while his fiancé was parking the vehicle, the steering wheel would turn however, the wheels would not respond. The dealer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic and diagnosed that the steering gear box was fractured. The vehicle was not repaired and remained at the independent mechanic. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 46,000.
