IN RESEARCHING THIS ISSUE, THERE ARE SEVERAL OTHER OWNERS WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS AND HAVE SAID THE MERCEDES SERVICE HAS UNOFFICIALLY ACKNOWLEDGED THERE IS A BATCH OF VIN NUMBERS WHICH HAVE FAULTY SENSORS. WE PURCHASED THIS CAR BECAUSE OF THE SAFETY FEATURES AND MERCEDES NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING TO RECTIFY THIS IN ORDER TO KEEP ITS CUSTOMERS SAFE.

WE PAID OVER $400 TO REPLACE THE SEATBELT BECAUSE THIS IS A DEFINITE…

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.

The tires appear that they will detach from vehicle which is a safety risk for myself and others. After repairs from someone who presented themselves as a certified Mercedes’ mechanic, the issues still exist. The problems first existed about a year and a half ago, about 6 months after purchasing.
