While driving at slow speed (approx 27 mph) on an inclining road, the automatic braking system when off and abruptly slowed down the vehicle. Fortunately there was no one immediately behind my car and there was no apparent reason for the emergency braking. The sidewalk did have a person with a dog off to the right at the time but they were completely away from the car walking on a sidewalk. This could have been dangerous if someone was driving immediately behind my car.

The car went from 20 miles an hour and 35 miles an hour (happened 2 times) to a sudden hault like hitting a wall. The first time I had to restart the car. The second car, I had to return it to drive. A big X came up on the dashboard. I have owned the car 17 months. Both issues happened in the last 30 days. Nothing beefore. The car has 4415 miles on it. The dealer (Fletcher Jones) was unable to replicate). There was no warning. They told us it was our problem and we could report it to Mercedes Benz which we will do today.

I own a 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC 350e plug-in hybrid. The vehicle experienced a complete loss of both the digital instrument cluster/display in front of the driver and the center MBUX infotainment display. Both screens remained completely black even after the vehicle was started and placed in READY mode. The vehicle was still capable of being driven, but the driver instrument display was completely unavailable. As a result, I could not see critical information normally provided through the instrument cluster, including vehicle speed, warning mes…

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.

No selected model years have a complete observation window. Choose an eligible year or a shorter window.

Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
