Owner report 11562425 · 2023-12-28 (December 28, 2023)

This causes the fuel bay door to malfunction, meaning sometimes it won't open and sometimes it opens on its own. Today, my local Mercedes dealer (Mercedes of Seattle) quoted $5081.00 to repair this. See attached electronic quote that I rejected and then it disappeared but I saved a screenshot of it. The car has less than 20,000 miles on it. This issue first appeared about a year ago, indicated by a solid yellow warning light (vehicle icon) on the dash…

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.
