Recall history

2 distinct campaigns affect this selection. Announcement dates below are different from vehicle model years. A campaign may cover multiple years.

21V780000 · Equipment:Appliance:Oven/Stove/Cooktop | Equipment:Recreational Vehicle/Trailer:Lpg Systems

Reported: 2021-10-06 (October 6, 2021) · Model years: 2018, 2019, 2020

Nexus RV's, LLC (Nexus) is recalling certain 2018-2020 Nexus Bentley, Bentley Diamond, Evoque, Ghost, Maybach, Wraith, Phantom, Triumph, and Viper recreational vehicles, built on International or Ford chassis. These vehicles are equipped with certain Dometic 3-burner cooking stoves. The saddle valve securing bolt may be overtightened, possibly damaging the o-ring seal and causing a continuous gas leak.

Consequence: A gas leak can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Nexus will work with Dometic, who will install a remedy kit of gaskets, washers, thread locker bolts, and two round orange labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 10, 2021. Owners may contact Nexus customer service at 1-574-970-0848.

Reported: 2023-02-04 (February 4, 2023) · Model years: 2022

Nexus RV's, LLC (Nexus RV's) is recalling certain 2022 Triumph, Phantom, Viper, Ghost, Rebel, Wraith, and Verrado motorhomes, equipped with certain Electric Retractable Awnings. The welded seam on the fabric may separate, potentially allowing the awning to drop beyond normal operation.

Consequence: An awning that drops or extends beyond normal operation can increase the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the awnings, if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 17, 2022. Owners may contact Nexus RV's customer service at 1-574-970-0848. Nexus Rv's number for this recall is 058-001-2022 Lippert.

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.

Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
