TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1997 NISSAN PICK UP XE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN THEY TOOK THE VEHICLE IN FOR STATE INSPECTION, THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE ENTIRE FRAME OF THE VEHICLE WAS RUSTED. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE VEHICLE COULD NOT BE REPAIRED. THE CONTACT SPOKE WITH THE MANUFACTURER IN REGARD TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER:11V244000 (STEERING AND SUSPENSION), BUT WAS TOLD THAT THE RECALL WAS ONLY FOR THE 1997 NISSAN PATHFINDER.
