The truck is prone to harsh transmission shifting. It is abrupt and harsh enough when coming to a stop to create a safety issue. If one is not hard on the brakes at the time, the truck will lurch forward with the last downshifts, with the potential to strike pedestrians or the car in front. My Titan has about 800 miles, and this behavior has been going on since I bought it recently. I will list today's date below since a date is required.

I currently have a 2023 Nissan Titan Pro-4X 4WD that intermittently when slowing to a stop between the speeds of 0-7mph it will, at times, feel as though the transmission is dropping from 3rd gear to 1st gear without cycling into 2nd gear properly creating almost a bumping effect to where it feels like you are almost being bumped from behind. When coming to a stop(rolling stop) the truck will jerk ROUGH. Which causes the truck to lunge forward. Multiple times have I almost hit the car in front of me causing an accident. Took vehicle to Nissan 2 times. First time I was informed. “ It’s the characteristics of the truck” which blew my mind. Second time I took it the mechanic was able to replicate the issue. It’s now been 2 weeks since the second visit and nothing has been done. A brand new truck. And already with problems with 4,800 miles ONLY!!

The parking brake has never been sufficient to prevent the vehicle from rolling slightly even after the vehicle has been placed in park. There is no audible alarm if you back up and the parking brake is set. The engine torque allows you to drive forward and reverse with ease even with the brake set, and a small dash light is the only indication that the brake is still set. When asking the dealership to adjust the brake and fix the issue they require the customer to pay for the service despite the brake being faulty from manufacture.

Gas spilling out when refilling. Fuel tank had been whistling from beginning ownership in 2020 but no problem refilling. Most recently however gas will quickly overflow when attempting to fill. This has occurred several times recently, but it was never an issue before. Spillage is not dependent on tank volume. Spillage occurs when low and/ or mostly filled. I have to trickle gas from pump in order to fill, but this takes quite a while to put in several gallons. If I attempt to fill normally gas will come gushing out after a few seconds.
