Owner report 11270642 · 2019-10-24 (October 24, 2019)

THERE WAS A VIBRATION ON THE CAR EVERY TIME I ACCELERATED FROM A STOP, SEEMS TO ALWAYS HAPPEN BETWEEN 27MPH TO AROUND 30MPH. IT WAS VIBRATING MORE OR LESS DEPENDING ON THE ACCELERATION TYPE, FAST ACCELERATION WILL SHAKE A LITTLE MORE. THE VIBRATION WAS MOST NOTICEABLE WHEN THE STEERING WHEEL WAS TURNED FULLY WHILE SLOWLY PULLING OUT OF OR BACKING INTO A PARKING SPOT. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER FOR EVALUATION. AFTER A QUICK FIFTEEN MINUTES THEY DETERMINED IT WAS A TRANSFER CASE ISSUE. I WAS TOLD THAT THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE FOR PORSCHE MACAN…

The steering wheel column anchor pin was found shifting and had play. This caused the steering column to be loose in the vertical axis. This is considered a steering column failure and which could become impaired or unavailable during driving, posing a high risk to driver and others. I brought my car to the dealer for inspection, who confirmed the issue. They adjusted the pin to fix the issue, which is considered a temporary fix for this issue, as the full repair would require full steering column replacement. There were no warnings prese…

In late August 2026 I noticed a strong gasoline odor in and around the vehicle, particularly after refueling, and stopped driving it immediately. On September 2, 2026, an independent Porsche specialist inspected the fuel-pump service area beneath the rear seat and documented: (1) the low-pressure fuel-pump filter/sender flange was actively leaking liquid fuel and venting gasoline vapor toward the passenger compartment; (2) liquid fuel was pooling on top of the flange assembly; (3) the fuel-pump service cover showed evidence of the earlier ALA2 …

When pressing the PARK button the vehicle does not always engage the parking brake and instead stays in gear. This can occur if the vehicle is in D or R, and occurs even if there is an audible “click” to register the press of the parking button. In 3000 miles, this has happened at least 6 times. A video is available on request, as you can’t show this in a still photo.
